My staff added that if we don't act slowly, we will only use the telephone. I just can't fire them because they are the most loyal men I have ever had. I also work for our family's real estate company as the Finance Manager.
Having this gallery is just a bonus.
A hobby
When I was young, I loved going with my daddy whenever he went somewhere to visit art galleries. Sometimes it is in different countries. That is why I grew up adoring art and all the things associated with it.
Mommy and my older brother are not very fond of such things. They used to go with us and Dad but usually just stay at home.
But of course, some things change as time passes by. As our company grows, Daddy becomes more and more preoccupied with the more important things to focus on.
Here I am, and I can't take my mind off the beauty of art and its perfection.
So I built this gallery.
After signing some papers and piling them up back in the box, I decided to take a break first. I stood up to get coffee in the pantry. Even before I could get out of my office, I heard some crashing coming from outside. My forehead furrowed.
"What are they doing?" I wondered to myself. "Don't tell me, they dropped another figurine?"
I blinked at the sky and just continued going to the pantry. It's not far from my office.
It was a bit dark in the hallway due to the lack of light installed, so I just used the flashlight on my cellphone to illuminate the detour to the pantry area.
"Why is it so dark?" I asked, as if someone from nowhere would suddenly pop up and answer me.
I rolled my eyes at the thought so childish.
I was close to the pantry when I heard another crash. This time, I'm sure it's just inside the pantry.
My forehead furrowed.
I quickly turned the door knob to see who was inside.
"What's going on there? Why do you seem to want to drop everything? "I couldn't help but raise my voice.
If my secretary wasn't here, they might have damaged some paintings and figurines.
I didn't receive an answer, so I just flicked the light switch to see who was inside.
As soon as the light filled up the pantry, a silent nothing greeted me.
Nobody.
But I'm sure the crash I heard earlier was inside. I can't be wrong.
"Who's there?" I slowly glanced at some things that might have fallen or fallen. "Nothing."
Nothing is messed up.
I was confused, but I just shrugged it off and approached the coffee maker to make coffee myself.
"Maybe I was just mistaken." I convinced myself.
Or maybe I'm just stressed? Or hungry?" I added.
I smiled as I picked up my favorite cup and transferred the coffee I made from the coffee maker. Because the biscuits I purchased were in a high cabinet, I first looked for a stepping stone to get to them.I found a monobloc chair in a corner and used it to reach the biscuits. I reached it.
I get a few pieces as well to take to the office in case I get hungry again later. I was on my way back with the food and coffee I had taken when I heard another crash. This time, it's on the third floor of the building. The Art Gallery has three floors.
"Another broken figurine," I said, irritably.
