The Military, Police, Gatekeepers, and several Guardians gathered in the Construction Area. They only found the corpses of residents and a devastated area. The cause of the destruction was explicitly announced as Shadow Creatures.
No secrets; panic would inevitably ensue shortly. However, it wouldn't be too extensive, given the previous rumors explaining the appearance of shadow creatures.
The presence of the Guardians would soon return to normal, becoming common knowledge.
Damian Sarvic silently witnessed the evacuation of corpses in the Construction Area. His silver mustache twitched slightly as his thoughts returned to the moment when the Saintess approached him to make a deal.
"Is this what She meant?" he mumbled as the moonlight illuminated his standing place.
"Mr. Sarvic." Damian was startled when someone called him. He turned to see a young man with a straw hat, John, approaching with another priest, Matthew.
