By transforming, Rai's sense to smell Magicule was enhanced. Unfortunately, it only worked on girls; he couldn't smell a guy's Magicule. If he could, then finding the real Charlie would be easy.
Closing his eyes, he tried to focus on the smell and erased any commotion that he had heard. It needed him to concentrate on finding the source of the smell.
"Sniff..." A sweet coffee scent entered his nostrils, and he immediately opened his eyes. He turned toward the direction where he smelt that scent and muttered, "That way, huh?"
Unlike his previous expectation, the smell was somehow moving. That meant Charlie didn't kidnap Rena, but she was only hidden and was replaced by using illusion.
"What a crafty guy. He tried to fool me by making me think that he kidnapped Rena, but he actually didn't do that."
