Jacob woke up in a completely dark world, feeling his own breath. Cold sweat ran down his body, and his eyes tried to search for light in this dark world, but without success.

"Is it over?"

When he could finally fully open his eyes, the first thing he noticed was a powerful, excessive, and dazzling light that made him squint. After a few seconds, his eyes adjusted to the brightness, and the first thing he clearly saw was the orb that had sent him to this world.

"[... Generating response... You have completed the main missions given to you in your first world. At this moment, you have the opportunity to return to your world or wait for the approximately three business days to say goodbye to the people you met.]"

"Can I do that?" Jacob sighed with relief.

"[Once your three business days are over, you will return to your original world as planned.]"

"So, what will happen to the worlds I visit?"

"[Generating response... I cannot answer that question.]"

Jacob fell silent for a moment. He definitely wasn't dead, but he wasn't alive either. Knowing that he could still return to the world he was sent to, he said, "I want to go back and live those last three days. I would also like to know how I will return."

"[You will become so ill that you will fall into a coma. At the end of your last day of business, you will return to the waiting world to receive rewards and find out when you will travel to another world.]"

"I agree with that," Jacob murmured before falling unconscious.

...

The Capitol.

Jacob slowly woke up from a long and deep coma. His mind emerged from the shadows of unconsciousness, gradually becoming aware of his surroundings. As he opened his eyes, a brief wave of pain swept through his body, reminding him of the battle he had fought and the conversation with President Snow. The pungent scent of medicine and alcohol filled the air, mingling with the sense of sterility that surrounded him.

As his vision adjusted, Jacob could make out the white walls of the hospital room. The glow of fluorescent lights seemed too intense for his still groggy eyes. He struggled to remember how he had ended up there, recalling blurry fragments of the battle and sacrifice.

Beside him, a machine emitted soft rhythmic beeps, monitoring his vital signs. Jacob noticed the bandages and dressings covering his body, evidence of the wounds he had suffered in the fight. Although the pain was acute at that moment, he also knew that he had overcome much greater obstacles.

As his mind cleared, he remembered the reason he had fought so fervently. He remembered the oppressed districts, the innocents who had suffered under the yoke of the Capitol. A feeling of satisfaction washed over him, propelling him to move from the bed. As the orb had said, he had only three days left before falling back into a coma.

Gradually, Jacob sat up in bed, feeling the weakness in his muscles but refusing to be defeated. His personal desires still burned inside him, fueled by the conviction that he must continue the battle until the end.

"You're finally awake. For a moment, I thought you wouldn't make it."Beside Jacob, a voice that could only belong to Haymitch resonated.

"Are you drunk again?" Jacob turned his head towards Haymitch and jokingly teased the old man whom he held a special affection for.

"Things have become even more complicated with President Snow's surrender. Now, everyone is afraid of the upcoming decisions that will be made in the Capitol, especially the residents of this rotten city." Haymitch got up and walked towards the window to observe the silent protests taking place outside President Snow's mansion.

Looking out the window, Jacob saw the outside world bathed in sunlight. He knew that the war was not over, that there was still much to be done. But he also knew that he was not alone in this fight. There were allies, friends, and fellow rebels willing to fight by his side.

"How long was I asleep?"

"About two days." Haymitch murmured after thinking it over.

"[Master, you were unconscious for two days, it could have been longer if you hadn't accelerated your recovery! During this time, the rebels took over all of Panem, and President Snow was publicly executed.]"

Jacob looked at himself in a mirror, grabbed the clothes that were beside him, and began changing right next to the bed without feeling any embarrassment in front of Haymitch.

But in the next moment, the door to his room swung open. "Jacob!"

Haymitch turned away to suppress his laughter at the sight of Jacob naked and Katniss rushing in.

"Katniss!" Jacob was about to go hug Katniss when he remembered he was naked.

"Why are you naked?" Katniss asked momentarily.

"What's the matter, dear?" Effie's voice sounded very excited to talk to Jacob, who seemed to have awakened.

"Wait a moment..." Katniss closed the door, pulling Effie out who wanted to come in at that moment.

"Haha, a few awkward moments always make you feel alive..." Jacob chuckled a bit while getting dressed.

"A month..." Haymitch said coldly.

"A month?" Jacob, who finished getting dressed, looked at Haymitch with confusion.

"That's what the doctors gave you, they say they detected a tumor in your head that will make you unconscious. In other words, you will enter an indefinite coma, and they have nothing to do to stop it." Haymitch's words didn't surprise Jacob.

Jacob immediately thought, "Somehow, the orb managed to affect my avatar in this world..."

"Well, I suppose we should get going." Jacob looked at Haymitch and asked, "Does Katniss know?"

"She doesn't know anything about it. It was lucky that I found out before she..." Haymitch responded.

"Then there's no problem. I feel strong, so nothing will happen."

...

The day after waking up, Jacob met with Katniss to establish a long-term development plan. They knew that rebuilding a just and equitable society would require a long-term approach and concrete measures to ensure that the districts were treated fairly and that their inhabitants had equal opportunities.

For hours, Jacob and Katniss discussed and mapped out a plan that spanned the next 100 years. They committed to establishing a democratic government in Panem, where the voice of every citizen would be heard and respected. They promised themselves that communications would be open to all, without censorship or restrictions, and that travel between districts would be free and safe.

On the second day, while the Capitol residents were recovering from the impact of the rebellion, Jacob and his team focused on cleaning up the mess and rebuilding what had been destroyed during the war. They worked tirelessly to restore the damaged infrastructure and provide assistance to those in need.

Meanwhile, Jacob's AI assistant took charge of drafting new laws and regulations to ensure justice and equality in Panem. These laws covered areas such as human rights, equitable distribution of resources, universal education, and access to healthcare.

Jacob and his team also focused on establishing training and development programs for the inhabitants of each district. They knew it was crucial to provide opportunities for growth and empowerment to all citizens, so they could build a prosperous future.

As the days passed, Panem began to transform. Hope was rekindled in the hearts of those living outside the Capitol, and the confidence in a better future became palpable in the air. Jacob and Katniss led hand in hand, always remembering the ideals of justice and freedom they had fought for.

As the new laws and programs were implemented, the spirit of unity and cooperation grew stronger. The people of Panem started working together, overcoming differences and building a society based on mutual respect and equal opportunities.

In the following days, Jacob and his team remained steadfast in their vision of a better Panem. They knew the road would be long and challenging, but they were willing to face any obstacle in pursuit of a fairer and freer future.

...

"[A version of me has been created in Panem's general systems to control the future you have worked so hard for, Master!]"

Jacob smiled upon hearing that. Tomorrow would be the speech where Katniss would become the leader after a long discussion about who should lead. But Jacob ended up winning. He told Katniss that she was the one who ignited the desire for the uprising, so she should take responsibility for guiding everyone to a new world. Eventually, he also learned that Gale died in the war, Brutus woke up, and Boggs was in recovery.

"Just one more day..." Jacob murmured under the darkness of the night.
