"No fucking way she got an A!" The voice of Audrey broke out into the space the moment we stepped into our room.
"Drop it, Audrey" Called Hannah Grace in a voice that said 'I'm tired of you bickering all day, and I seek now is some peace' while her figure advanced the window.
"We've all been graded regardless" She added.
"Well, that's unfair!" Followed the voice of Audrey, eyes shifting to Hannah.
"Why would Valerie get and A, and I end up with a C?"
"At least you got a C" I pitched in, form soon sinking into my bed, with the sympathetic gazes of Audrey and Hannah taking my figure.
The former soon came approaching me at once, those eyes of hers, soft on my form.
"I'm so sorry, Anna. You didn't deserve that" She followed.
"I mean, you get to work in accordance with the assignment's guidelines, even intent on the truth, and some girl who does nothing and even makes certain to go against the rules, ends up getting an A" That utterance poured out in a blurt.
"Someone tell me once more how life is fair" She followed.
"You only say that because you hate her" Called Hannah Grace from the other end.
"Hate is a strong word" Audrey began, eyes shifting to Hannah Grace "But I do despise the bitch!" She added.
"Oh, you'll get over it"
I heard those words, with the mumbles of the girls away, falling.
All I wanted was to go to bed. To rid my mind off every mind-threatening issue. And that, I was sure to do.
While the chatters of the girls fell faint into my ears, I had been pulled by the warm hands of sleep and calm.
