Freya couldn't be more happy. Literally every single factor was on her side, causing her to smile as she walked back home.
It was a long day at School, it was also already sunset now.
(She opens the unlocked door gently, so she could slip in unnoticed)
"Somebody's home late" Rebecca grinned, as she said.
"Mom! Well. We went on a road trip, it was a lot" Freya replied, as she recalled the feeling of being kissed and romanced by Ben Carson.
(Rebecca bursts into tears)
Freya gets why she's crying, but acts like she didn't.
"Mom, why are you crying, I did something wrong, didn't I?" said Freya, as she ran to her mom, wiping her tears with her clothes.
(Rebecca sniffs back some tears)
"I just...I just never thought you would get back to this Freya. I'm just so happy you went to hell and came back in good health, both mentally and physically. Truth is, no words can totally express the way I feel right now Freya. I just love you so much..."
(Freya hugs her mom, tightly enough to get her body squeezed into hers, not literally though)
"I got these on my way home mom. Thought you might need them" Freya says, as she pulls away from her mom, referring to the packaged food ingredients she was with.
(Rebecca wipes the remaining tears away, still sobbing a bit though)
"That's so thoughtful of you Freya, you're all a mother could ever ask for, you know that?"
"Alright mom. I want you to do something for me mom, please. Let's not talk about my demon shit ever again, yeah? We should get past it, and move on with life" Freya suggests.
"Of course. Whatever you want" Rebecca accepts without questions. "Now, go have a shower, and come down for dinner, it will be ready in 30, yeah!"
"Sure mom" Freya hums melodiously, as she stomped off to her room.
Freya's body cells were light and filled with energy, fresh waves of happiness and relief kept sweeping across the air, filling her up in its glory.
Her brain felt different, she felt different. Even before Freya's demon shit, her life wasn't this amazing. Now, it's almost like she was grateful for passing through her demon shit, if it meant, getting past it would make her life better in all ramifications.
Before she could get a shower, her phone beeps. It was a message from Ben on whatsapp.
"Hmm, Ben has my number. Interesting" She blushed, as her heart pounded widely in her chest.
Ben's message read, *Hey stranger. Had a nice time with you today*
Freya tells showering to go fuck itself, she relaxes her body on her bed, and screams into her pillow.
(Okay. Freya. Come on, organise yourself!)
*You did?* replied Freya.
*Actually, I was wondering...if you we could do it again sometime. I don't mean the almost sex part. Just you and me, in some place special*
(Whao. Dude just asked me out. Do I really like Ben that way tho? Hmm)
*Uhmm, you're asking me out on a date?* Freya replies his text almost immediately.
(Freya tosses her phone thereafter as she felt the need to shower)
*********
(At Dinner)
"So...Freya. How was School today?" Adams asked, before sipping from the glass of water in front of him.
Freya, who was sitting opposite her dad, felt nothing, but rage and contempt for the middle aged man. She just wanted him to go suck a pussy, rather than ask her all these.
"Why don't we just drop it, yeah! Stop acting like you care Mr. Adams"
"I'm your dad, Freya. I can't forget you. I've talked to your mom concerning this, please, let's move past this, and pretend shit never happened. Don't tell me you've forgotten how close we used to be back in the days, all those games we used to play, and pranks we pull on each other. I'd always take you to the movies on weekends, buy us ice cream, and we would laugh over my bad jokes. Please, Freya. I want that back. The only reason I didn't sign the divorce papers your mom brought was, I knew you'd get better, and I wanted to be your dad again when you did" Adams empties the glass of water, and continues; "Fine. I accept. I suck. I wasn't a good dad, in fact, I abandoned you when I was supposed to help you get through your shit. You know my story love. I'm a complicated human being. You're the only person keeping me together, preventing me from drinking, drugs, and other women. When we were apart emotionally, I couldn't help it. But now you're back, I'm ready to let it all go, and repair this family. Please, Freya"
Freya doesn't let this bother her though.
"Food is getting cold dad. You should round up your lame speech and eat up" Freya mocks.
"Well, at least she called you dad" Rebecca jeers, as she continued with her food.
(Mr. Adams sighs)
"I'm not giving up so easily. I must get you to forgive me" Adams gets on his feet, leaving his food untouched.
"And where the hell are you going now?" Rebecca asks.
"I lost my appetite my love" He leaves.
(Freya turns to her mom, who couldn't stop grinning)
"How did you forgive him so easily?"
(Rebecca chuckles)
"Who, me? As he said, he's a complicated man. If you are the only person that keeps him together, I suggest you forgive him too. He's still your father. In my own case, he's my husband, and I can't stay angry at him forever, besides, being a single mom is even more difficult than it sounds"
Freya thinks about the issue. She just got away from a thousand year old demon who put her life in disarray, who fucked with everything, including her schooling, and her social life. She literally got the demon out of her life, after so much suffering and torment. Letting her dad back into her life didn't seem like a big deal anymore.
"Fine. It seems like his apology is genuine. I can work with that. Ha ha" Freya smiled, as she wrapped up with her food.
(A giant knock on the door)
"Check that out, will ya?" Rebecca asks.
Freya hesitantly walks to the door, and opens it sluggishly.
"Ben!"
Ben walks in, without getting invited in, with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
"Ben, it's late. What are you doing here?"
Ben Carson doesn't give a fuck about anything or anyone asides Freya right now.
"Freya. I like you, and I hope you feel the same about me. I asked you out on a date through texts, but you didn't reply, so I came here to do this myself"
(He gets on his knees, literally)
"Freya Adams, will you go out with me?" pleaded Ben Carson, as Freya passed her hand over her face, looking puzzled.
