Chapter 54 - Solitary Sea Realm Part - 9

There are two types of affection that bring love closer to infinite emotions: the admiration of a little girl for a grown man, and the compassion of a woman for a little boy.

This wasn't the first time her motherly love overflowed. Hai Baihe rubbed her forehead, hoping to calm herself down.

But she couldn't remain calm, so she could only say to Bai Wenwen, "I'll give you the fish, I'll eat it later. Oh, by the way, the small one is yours."

Bai Wenwen had just nodded when she saw Hai Baihe pulling Liang Xiao into the room. She became a little worried. Could they be arguing?

It was no wonder she would think that way. Her boyfriend was an extremely chauvinistic person. He treated her well, generous with money, but he wanted her to be a housewife and not continue working. But... to be a housewife?

Bai Wenwen laughed at herself. What was she now? If her mother knew the truth, she would be heartbroken.

A wall apart.

Liang Xiao was pressed against the wall by Hai Baihe.

Her hair was still dripping wet, and a water droplet happened to fall on her collarbone. Hai Baihe had a beautifully shaped collarbone, the kind that could hold a row of coins, as seen on Weibo. The water droplet fell right into the curve. Liang Xiao smiled gently, his eyes fixed on her, while his hand lightly brushed her collarbone, his fingertip picking up a droplet of water and bringing it to his lips. He placed his fingertip on his lips and lightly sucked it.

Hai Baihe gasped and clenched her teeth. "Don't go too far, or else I will really do this and that to you."

"Ah," Liang Xiao's tone carried a hint of regret and a teasing tone. "So now you don't want to do this and that to me?"

Hai Baihe felt wronged. She only wanted to give him a loving embrace! A warm one! But instead, this lascivious person turned it into a foreplay.

Well... since they've had foreplay, it would be a pity not to go all the way.

However, considering the scarcity of water resources and the fact that they were about to eat fish, Hai Baihe decided to save time and effort by pulling down her zipper.

She had gradually learned his preferences. After teasing him a bit, Liang Xiao began to breathe more heavily. He laughed and said, "You're not being gentle this time, huh?"

"You teased me first." She bit his lip and stared at him, getting close enough that their eyelashes could almost touch. "You... have... to... take... responsibility."

Liang Xiao lowered his eyes slightly, gazing at her. Her cheeks were slightly reddened from desire, and the sea water that hadn't evaporated soaked her already tender skin, making it even smoother. He bit her earlobe and lightly licked it. The area was particularly sensitive due to the numerous nerve endings. Hai Baihe gritted her teeth and hooked her arm around his neck to support herself from going weak.

He found her assertive behavior particularly cute and charming. "No problem." He pulled her waist towards him and said, "Are you ready?"

He counted, "One, two... Oh," he took a deep breath, panting a few times in a hurry, then smiled. "Little girl, you're really eager."

"Stay still, I'll take care of it myself." Hai Baihe murmured softly. "It's a shame to waste time. I still want to eat fish."

"OK," Liang Xiao let go and raised his hand slightly, gesturing that she could take control. "Now I'm yours."

Hai Baihe: "..." Finally experiencing the feelings of a domineering CEO, isn't it too much to tease like this at such a time? What is this tormenting little devil thinking!!

Thinking about the grilled fish, Hai Baihe put on her clothes after finishing and handed the smaller fish to Bai Wenwen. "It's not your fault. Take it and eat it quickly, don't let others take it from you."

The fish had been grilled for a while and wasn't too hot anymore. Although Bai Wenwen felt a bit embarrassed, she was extremely hungry and thanked Hai Baihe before taking it.

Hai Baihe took the grilled fish in the basin and returned to her room. On the way, Liang Xiao jokingly asked her, "Are you planning to beat her up?"

"Although I want to, I won't." Hai Baihe's expression was uncertain. "It's too early to provoke conflicts now. I don't want to be a target. But I will remember this grudge."

Revenge is a dish best served cold, better late than never, hehe.

Late at night, the moonlight poured onto the azure sea, creating a serene and mysterious atmosphere. The ocean was quiet, like a scene from a fairy tale, as if a little mermaid would emerge from the water's surface to secretly observe the human world.

Hai Baihe quietly got up and pushed open the window. The chilly sea breeze blew in, and she took a deep breath, preparing to jump down when she heard Liang Xiao's voice, "Where are you going?"

"To take care of you." She made a hushing gesture, but Liang Xiao held her back. "Baihe, it's too dangerous. I know you can dive, but the lighting is poor now, and I don't want you to take risks."

Hai Baihe tilted her head and looked at him. "Are you worried about me?"

"Of course, I'm worried about you." His tone left no room for doubt. "It's too dangerous."

Hai Baihe smiled at him. "Don't worry, I'm good in the water. This is not my limit. My dad used to have a fishing boat, and I often went fishing with him. Otherwise, how do you think I developed this skill in the swimming pool?"

"Don't go." He held her hand tighter and took a step forward, pulling her back inside the room. He looked at her with concern. "Baihe, it's too risky."

Hai Baihe looked up at him and sighed softly. "You always like to squander your own body, don't you?" Her hand trailed down his neck, brushing against his chest, and rested on his heart. She could feel his strong and steady heartbeat. "You possess talents that others envy but can't obtain."

Liang Xiao chuckled softly, biting her ear. "Do you like it? Now it's yours."

"I definitely like it. I really, really like it." Hai Baihe said earnestly. "Why do you dislike something that I like so much?"

Liang Xiao smiled as if he had heard something interesting. He teasingly asked, "What are you saying? How could I dislike myself?"

"Pay no attention to it. You know it yourself." Hai Baihe retorted, not giving him a chance to respond, and mysteriously beckoned him with her finger. "Let me tell you another secret. You told me a secret before, but you don't remember it."

Liang Xiao appeared nonchalant, but in reality, he didn't miss any of her subtle expressions. He knew she was telling the truth, which made him feel uneasy. "What secret?"

Hai Baihe blinked. "Since it's a secret, how can I tell you?"

"Wasn't it a secret I told you?"

"Now, it's my secret." She wiggled her finger. "As a person, I'm timid. How could I dare to tell secrets to someone who could disappear at any moment like you?"

Liang Xiao fell into her trap, feeling somewhat helpless. He wanted to take her words as a joke, but his intuition told him it wasn't a joke; she was telling the truth.

He had a secret in her hands, and he didn't know what it was.

This sense of losing control was not something he liked. So he said, "Okay, Hai Baihe, remember what you said today."

"You know it, and I know it. You will lose to me." Hai Baihe kissed his lips with a smile. "Well, since you don't want me to go out in the middle of the night, then I won't go. Let's go to sleep."

Liang Xiao had a lot on his mind, and though he lay down, he couldn't fall asleep. He turned to look at Hai Baihe, who was peacefully sleeping.

Liang Xiao couldn't help but have wicked thoughts. He was just about to pinch her nose when he heard the sound of a door slamming outside. Hai Baihe immediately woke up and looked at his paused movement, quickly moving back a bit, and cautiously looked at him. "Are you trying to murder me?"

"So you noticed." Liang Xiao showed a classic smirk of a killer, and then forcefully... pinched her soft cheek. "You fell asleep after saying half of something. Is there such a cheap deal?"

Hai Baihe swatted his hand away. "Why do you always pinch my face?"

"It feels good." Liang Xiao pinched her chin, looked left and right, and said, "Your face isn't that big. Where is all that fat?"

Hai Baihe spat at him. "...Pfft, I'm not fat." She pushed him away and jumped off the bed to see what was happening outside. As soon as she pushed the door open, she exclaimed, "What's going on?"

"You crazy old woman, knocking on my door." The one cursing with anger was the refined man they hadn't seen since last night. He pointed at Aunt Li with his patience already below zero. "What's wrong with you?"

Aunt Li sneered. "Let me ask you, did you steal the things that were being sold downstairs?"

"What do you mean?" The refined man's expression changed slightly as more and more people were drawn by the commotion.

Aunt Li said, "Don't treat everyone like idiots. The food and water in the hotel were all gone in the morning. I thought it was someone else at first, but today you haven't left your room. What did you eat and drink? You must have hidden it!"

Hai Baihe heard this and turned to Liang Xiao, whispering, "We have a good show to watch."

In fact, Hai Baihe had some speculations about who took all the food from the hotel today. Everyone was a suspect, but it was just a matter of the degree of suspicion. However, after fermenting for a day, anyone with a brain could figure out who it was.

If this refined man had appeared today, it would be difficult to determine who took the food. The suspect could have hidden the food and acted as if nothing happened, joining everyone else in searching for food. But the prerequisite was that he could find a suitable hiding place.
