Jia Li peered ahead through her veil, captivated by the enchanting decorations adorning the entrance. She couldn't help but feel that she stood out in her dress amidst the grandeur. Tilting her head slightly, she met Xianwu's gaze as he held her hand.
"You can let go of my hand," Jia Li asserted, noticing Xianwu's firm grip.
Xianwu replied, "I don't want to lose you in the crowd."
Jia Li glanced around and pointed out, "There's no crowd here."
Xianwu persisted, "I can see the crowd, though," his eyes scanning the area, reluctant to release her hand.
Jia Li, changing the subject, whispered, "Is there a lion dance happening?" Her words were audible enough for Xianwu to hear, and he hummed in response.
"Usually, they do it to entertain kids and teenagers most of the time," Xianwu explained to Jia Li as he guided her toward the lion dance performance.
