Dhiraj was loving his honeymoon phase!!! Loving would be an understatement. Everyday was a great day for him, because his baby at least liked his body!! Now that Nakul had admitted that he was attracted to Dhiraj, the dam of Dhiraj's patience broke. He simply just wasn't able to keep his hands to himself anymore. The slight touches that once were missing had returned. And so was his walking around shirtless. He made every shameless attempt to seduce his baby.
But there were some other things too that were added to the seduction. Dhiraj's main goal had changed to getting his baby to fall for him!! And that motivated him to give his most. Anything, big or small. If he can do it for Nakul, he will.
The one thing Nakul was sure about more than anything was that: That man will give his all for Nakul. And.....Nakul couldn't help but blush at that thought.
However, from a couple of days things weren't going Dhiraj's way. Nakul had turned into an angry grumpy cat once again. The reason was his work this time. Unnecessary tasks were being handed to him at his school. Coupled with some senior teachers who taunted him for being a little too friendly with the students. Nakul was more than just agitated. And Dhiraj hated seeing his baby so mad. So here he was with an already distressed Nakul who was making dinner.
Nakul was mad. And that was evidently with how harshly he was treating the utensils.
"Something happened today as wel-"
"YES!!" Nakul busted out the moment Dhiraj tried talking about the matter. "Today I was handed the work to fill in the logs of all other teachers. Why the fuck should I do that?"
A small smile escaped from Dhiraj's lips as he was pleased with the fact that he had gotten close enough with Nakul for him to discuss his daily frustrations with Dhiraj. 'That's a small win.' Nakul noticed that smile and that set him off the edge.
"And now you are smiling at my misery?"
"NO!! I just....think...that your school people are so stupid. I mean-" Dhiraj immediately tried to pacify his angry kitty, "- Nakul is such a cute little kitty. How can they do this to you?!"
Nakul was not pleased with that comment. "Why am I even discussing this with you?! As if you care...." Nakul purposely made that hurtful comment. He had gotten aware of things that irked Dhiraj. And he got the result he expected.
"Don't say that...."A visibly hurt Dhiraj said with a pouty face. He went behind Nakul and put his arms across Nakul, hugging him. "Don't say I don't care. I do. I really do..." He nuzzled his nose onto Nakul's neck, hugging him tighter. And Nakul was becoming sooooo weak to that gesture. "Want me to take care of them?"
Instantly recalling that Dhiraj was a trustee of his school, Nakul cautioned himself. Sure he was pissed. But that's just how regular work is right?. There's no need for drastic measures. And so he replied, " Nop. Things will get better"
"Okay" Dhiraj simply replied.
Dhiraj still hugged him from behind, clinging on to him, not ready to leave. And deep down Nakul like that.

Things DID NOT get better. Even though the teachers left him alone, work piled up. With annual events immediately followed by the exams coming ahead, Nakul was totally out of his zone.
"I became a teacher because I didn't want a hectic life. I would get 2 months of vacation with less work. That's what I signed up for!!!!!!Not this?! I am working even on a Sunday. WHO WORKS ON SUNDAYS?!!!!!!!" His ranting sessions to Dhiraj were becoming a daily routine.
"I need a break...." sighed Nakul as he crashed onto the sofa.
'He does need a break.' Dhiraj knew he HAD to do something, so he took matters in his own hands.
"Okay!! Let's do that" He smiled at his baby with a mysterious smile. Unsurity clouded over Nakul.
"Get dressed. Let's go out"
"Where?" Nakul couldn't help but wonder.
"Just follow my lead" proposed Dhiraj with a wink.
And so Nakul quickly got dressed. They went down to the parking lot and drove off. Soon they reached the mall and Nakul found himself being swiped away with Dhiraj's gusto. With his hand holding Nakul's and a child-like joy on his face, Dhiraj was ecstatic. And looking at that sight, how can Nakul just be....fine...? He couldn't describe what his heart was feeling. All he knew was, he wouldn't mind if he was forever stuck in this moment. Just him with this smug face, giggling, holding hands and enjoying the moment.
Dhiraj soon stopped where the games were. How long had it been since Nakul had last played those games?!
"Here?" he enquired Dhiraj.
"Yeah here!!" Dhiraj replied with that foolish grin of his. Nakul could feel his exhilaration through his voice.
"Aren't we too old to be here? Like 16 year-olds come here to hangout or on a date...."Nakul immediately got conscious of his words.
"Well....what if we pretend we are a couple of 16 year old's hanging out...or...on a date...?I mean...we did hang out before too, right?"
Nakul was looking away trying to hide his coyness as ears heard the word date, but he could still sense Dhiraj's mischievous smile. Upon not receiving any reply, Dhiraj decided to tease Nakul a bit more.
"So, what should it be? A hangout or....a date?"
Nakul could feel his face getting hotter as understood the intent behind Dhiraj's question.
"I....I want to go to the claw machine..."
All Nakul could do was to make a weak attempt to hide his red ears and pink blush by diverting Dhiraj's attention. Why can't he even answer such a simple question?! He looked around to find the claw crane, which he found a minute later.
Dhiraj did understand Nakul avoiding that question. But he knew he could wait more. And so all he decided to focus on was enjoying the moment with his baby. He followed Nakul and stopped near the claw machine. He looked inside to spot 100s of plushies. Some small, some big. 'This is my chance to impress my baby.'
"Tell me which toy you want. I'll get it for you" said Dhiraj confidently with that smug smile. Nakul let out a chuckle looking at Dhiraj's confidence.
"Quite confident you are. Okay. I want..." Nakul turned to look at the plushies in the machine. Soon his eyes stopped at the one. "....that one..." Nakul pointed out towards an orange furred dog-like plushie.
"That husky?" Dhiraj confirmed.
"I think it's a fox. You know it looks like you. A sly fox."
"Noooooo....its does look like me... but it's a cute little puppy..." Dhiraj titled his head slightly, showing his best puppy face to Nakul. And Nakul couldn't help but chuckle at that sight.
"Just get it and then we will decide if it looks like you or not."
"Okay Captain." Dhiraj did a salute to Nakul and went on the mission to retrieve the plushie. And only after at least 7 attempts could he get it.
"Yeah!!!!! GOT IT!!!!!" a triumphant Dhiraj nearly screamed. He put the plushie beside his face and himself made a pouty face. "So? Do we look alike?"
"Okay...he's a husky but you still are a fox" Saying that Nakul focused his attention on what game they should play next. But he was stopped in that process, when Dhiraj held him by his elbow.
The distance between the soon diminished and Dhiraj whispered in Nakul's ear, "But I thought I was a dog? Your dog. Remember, how you rewarded me last time?..."
Nakul's eyes widened as he soon recalled how he rewarded Dhiraj the last time. Rather it was more of a reward for Nakul. Kisses on Nakul's lips, hands all over him that eventually paid all their attention to...down there.
A flush of red was visible once again on Nakul's cheeks as he strode off to another game.
