Nox had ended his presentation within a couple of minutes and the next participant, Dave Clove had went up stage to give his. It had also came out as a superb and inspiring song, in the end, both participants were given Rank Five.
Moving on to the next participants, the twins; Xin and Xan, were invited to the stage. A loud erupting noise filled the hall as the duos summersaulted and backflipped their way to the arena, giving the audience and those who doesn't know them before now, an idea of what they were to present. It was pretty obvious that these couple of teens were dancers and are here to perform that.
Xan backflipped for about three times and then stood still with both of his hands at the back while Xin summersaulted and landed his knees on Xan's hands, he also had his hands raised separately to the side. This shows how confident he was that Xan wouldn't fall him down even though he has a smaller frame compared to his own self and he wasn't holding onto Xan's shoulder for support.
Everyone was amazed as a loud round of applause had echoed through the hall again, but it got louder when the twin started moving in a circular motion despite being in the same pose as before. Some were wondering how the tiny twin was able to carry his other twin who looks more bulky than him. Some concluded that it must be that the bulky twin wasn't so heavy as they thought and the tiny twin was able to lift him without any problems.
But in truth Xan was struggling to keep up with the pose, he was only acting strong to gain recognition from the audience, within him, he knew he was starting to get weary, but before anyone could notice, his other twin had realised this and had immediately got off his back.
Now they were standing side by side together, with their eyes facing the ground, while the DJ was preparing to play a few sets of songs they could dance to.
A specific song was played and almost immediately, the twins had started dancing to it, mixing the leg works, hand works and other dance techniques they ever knew, making it look impressive but too hard to replicate due to the multiple series of skills.
A few moments later, the dance performance have ended with both twins obtaining an award of rank five each. The judges all claimed to have enjoyed the presentation and also gave a good comments here and there. However, the only judge who haven't spoken that much of a word today was Dora and this didn't go unnoticed by Alex.
"I've known Dora for long, this is not the first time she'll have such expression on her face. It always happen whenever something goes wrong. 'Cause why won't there be, my already recorded album was stolen and pirated by some stupid participants, and the mastermind behind it was Thomas. I'm sure Dora is aware of this, but why isn't she doing anything.' Alex thought as he watched the last VIP participant walk up the stage to sing.
Just like the initial two participants, she had also present a song from Alex's unreleased albums, as directed by Thomas. Alex could only get angry less since there wasn't anything he could do at the moment.
'Too bad I'm not in any position to do anything right now, I would have revealed all of Thomas's secret doings. For now though, I'd have to climb up to a position where I would be able to claim a rightful justice for my death by finding out who the real perpetrator is and what the main cause of my death was.'
Even if he lay an accusation on the VIP participants for singing a song from Alex Stale's unreleased album, who would believe him? They would think he's crazy, and that will only make him a target by Thomas, something he wasn't looking forward to happen.
Once the last VIP participant who went by the name Lyla was done with her 'pirated' presentation, Sam had come up stage to choose the participants that will be performing next. Since the names would be called on random, everyone was on edge on who it will be.
A name was called and it turned out to be a participant with the role number of 226. Though timid and shy at first, once he started singing he took the minds of everyone to a different universe, filling them up with sympathy and tears of joy.
Everyone had expected him to receive a rank five but unexpectedly he was given rank three. Even Alex who was a difficult judge to impress had made a judgement of his own, awarding rank five to the guy. But it turns out that the other judges, at least the ones that were alive weren't agreeing to that.
Another participant had been called up and at the end of his performance, he was also given rank three. More and more kept on coming, but they either end up in rank three or other ranks below.
"This is all shitty." Tyler eventually let out the frustration she has been keeping within herself for a while now. She was watching everything play out and without doubt she was certain there was something fishy going on in this arena. Though she decided to stay calm since they already have an evidence on Thomas secret acts. What she didn't know was that Thomas had already deleted the footage from her brother's camera.
Backing up her words, Bob had eventually spoken up.
"It's just as expected, this whole contest is rigged for sure. It is no longer the way it was once before."
Listening to what Bob just said, Alex clenched his fists tightly. He was angry at how the contest he created and sacrificed so much for had turned out. He wasn't expecting things to be like this that's why he hired honest and good people to become his co-judges. Another thing he didn't expect was for his death to come this soon.
'If things became this way because of people's greed, then I'll just have to punish those who made it this way. Both the perpetrator and the ones who supported this evil act. This is my mission in this new life.'
