Draven heard her curse under her breath. "Hell be damned, I'll be doomed if those men catch me!"
Without warning, Rhea tugged on Draven's sleeve and shoved him into a corner. She guided him through a series of twists and turns until they emerged onto a different path. Rhea breathed a deep sigh of relief, but didn't explain to Draven what that was all about until he asked.
Draven raised an eyebrow, curious. "What have you done to provoke those thugs you were avoiding?" It seemed that trouble always followed Rhea wherever she went, and she wouldn't go out of her way to avoid a group of men unless she had somehow offended them.
