The sun falls behind the horizon, shining it's brilliant orange light onto the glistening violet grass.
BANG
That abrupt noise billowed disrupting that peace of the plains. This was far from the sound produced by a gun, but a brutal impact of a train colliding into a heap of organic flesh, one can only guess what it may had been for it was mutilated beyond it's original form. As the mass was flatten, broken and ground up, lining the tracks with exposed entrails.
Stood to witness this display was a solemn woman. She wore loose white clothes, her figure obscured by the worn long dark purple coat rested on each shoulder with vacant sleeves.
She stared blankly seemingly through the train to the sun still on the other side of it, in deep thought with profound meaning. Habitually biting and sucking at her bottom broken lip relishing in the iron taste it made.
The train brakes produced a high pitched screech sending out steams of sparks a moment later as if it had a delayed reaction to collision, going off a distance further the flesh, bones and gore smeared on the wheels and under side of it. The smell of death and crap already began hang in the still air.
Clutching a pack of gold outlined cigar pack noticeably tighter, then turned her back to the train with a turn of a foot, she walked away towards an old man's car parked on the gravel road. Roughly turning the protesting gear stick, revving the engine to life, with a sharp turn kicking dust up drove off.
