Hello, our lovely readers! We meet again! I'd like to take this opportunity to inform you a couple of important things, so I hope you read carefully.
If we haven't met yet, nice to meet you, my name is Rossita. And, if I am lucky and you've seen my previous work on this platform before, welcome back!
Yes, a bit of self-promotion here; you might know me as the author of the book The Alpha's Replacement Bride. You found me again, yaay <3
And it makes this book my second one. Welcome to the Tyrant's Replacement Bride!
You might've noticed on the front page of this book that you can't tap on my username to look at what novels I've written on this platform. It's because I contracted this book under a non-exclusive contract, just like my first book.
There are a couple of reasons why I did so, and here's why. First, the main reason is, I intended to make a comic version of this book, so I can't contract it exclusively with Webnovel. And so is my first book!
You will be able to find the comic version of both my books on Webtoon and Tapas. You just need to search with the title on any search engine (G o o g l e, or anything else), and they'll pop out.
I'm so excited about them because the artists are very talented, and I direct and edit them myself! It has been my dream since when I was a kid that I'd someday make my own comic.
Second of all, I can't deny that I have no other choice but to choose a non-exclusive contract. I shamelessly love my stories so much that I still wished to have rights over them. But the reality is, a non-exclusive contract has a lot of cons.
Yes, it gives me the freedom to do anything I want with my books, giving me the right to expand the potential of the story and make lots and lots of things happen (like some artwork, accessories, and comic versions.), but ultimately, the benefit I got from Webnovel App won't be as great as if I signed an exclusive contract one. It will receive less promotion, and it will reach fewer readers.
Moreover, since last year, the non-exclusive books can't join the Win-Win system anymore. If you don't know, the Win-Win is the system where the readers can help the book get promoted more with banners and library recommendations after a certain amount of privileged chapters have been unlocked.
And it brought me to the last reason... it's because I am struggling with money.
Yes, it is counter-intuitive. Why wouldn't I want to contract my book exclusively if I just want this book to provide me with a living and help me bring food to the table? Well, for us aspiring writers and authors, there are a lot of alternatives to introduce a book to our readers.
One of them is, making the book easier to read by adapting it into a comic version. The other one is to hope for a miracle to happen... haha, that, and also working hard to post this book everywhere on every platform out there so it will hopefully reach a wider audience.
It will be a long journey ahead, but I have enjoyed the experience and the struggle so far. The struggle that I hope will bear fruit.
Maybe it's because I am young and naive, or maybe because I do not actually care about the money? No. I do care about the money; I can't lie to you. It gives me tremendous joy to see you unlock the chapters every month or when you send me gifts.
It gives me hard goosebumps on my whole body, thinking that my work has been appreciated.
But more so when you knock on my phone with a notification that you've reviewed or commented on my book. I cried every single time. It always made my day.
I am very fortunate that I can live my dream as a creator, so it's fine for me to work multiple jobs at once other than writing. But one day... maybe... I can become a full-time writer? Maybe it is another dream I'd have to reach.
The last thing I want to say is... non-exclusive contracts left me with one fatal con. It is very expensive.
I can only set 20 chapter privileges ahead, and it is too expensive to pay that much (around $22 per month), while I, as the author, will only get around 15% of what you pay. (I'm not kidding.) Moreover, the money will not be paid until that 15% reaches $200.
So it means if you pay around 8 coins per chapter (on average), I will only get a little more than 1 coin. It's literally only 1,2 coins, ahhaha... And don't forget that one coin is equal to 2 cents. I told you I am struggling with money... hahaha...
So, with that in mind, I propose you one solution.
I will only post 5 privilege chapters on this app since there is no Win-Win to help promote this book anymore anyway. But you can read up to 25 chapters ahead if you become my patron on P A T R E O N with only US$20.
I will list the tiers you can sign up to on my P A T R E O N page.
Moon Gazer. This tier is only US$3 a month, and you can read 6 advanced chapters of this book. (and more surprises)
Moon Carver. This tier is only US$5 a month, and you can read 15 advanced chapters of this book. (and even more surprises)
Rocinante. This tier is only US$6 a month, and you can read 6 advanced chapters of this book and also one advanced chapter of the comic (the SFW version). And guess what? More benefits!
Cassiopeia. This tier is US$10 a month, and you can read 15 advanced chapters of this book AND two advanced chapters of the comic (FULL NSFW VERSION). Also, more benefits!
And hear me out here; this is the best tier, in my opinion. Leonis (All Package), Is only US$20 a month, but you will get 25 advanced book chapters and ALL advanced comic chapters, FULL NSFW VERSION of them too! And, of course, lots and lots of other benefits.
And the last tier I have that I'd like to mention is the Goddess, Andromeda, for US$50 a month. This tier is created for you who just wish to support me further so I can continue creating content. You will also get exclusive artwork every month of your choosing. Any characters, any scenes, and we'll make it happen.
There are some more tiers I didn't mention because they're only for the comic version, not including the novel chapters. But you can check them all out on my P A T R E O N page.

Well, I guess it's better to pay 20 dollars for 25 chapters with a bunch of other benefits instead of $22 for only 20 chapters, right?
I think that's all. If you have more questions you want me to answer, you can ask in the comment section below. I will do my best to answer every and each one of them.
Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for reading this book. I am forever honored to present you the story I love with all of my heart, with the hopes that it will reach you and brighten your day just a little bit.
I will lock the chapters from this point onwards. Happy reading!
