The death of Dorothy marked the start of the real lesson from the Dark Mage.
Even though Loneborn himself felt that Sebastian was even more talentless than he was, he boasted that he could even train a blind and disabled person to be the strongest in the world.
And the method was simple.
He just needed to train him over, over, and over again. Time was always on his side, and even though he was not strong enough to bend time and space, he could create something more effective.
Talentless? Well, he could just create a talent for Sebastian, no big deal.
And what was talent anyways?
It was the harmonious integration of mental acuity, physical coordination, and innate abilities that were unique to each individual.
But if one tried constantly enough, they could acquire a talent.
"Your talent is in your eyes," Loneborn said as they entered the Forbidden Forest. "You have the same kind of eyes as myself."
