Isla knew something was seriously up when Sebastian Leodegrance sat her up on the bed and checked all over her body the moment they arrived at their tent.
"Are you feeling dizzy?" he asked hurriedly. "How about your eyes? Can you see me clearly?"
Isla could visibly see the worry in his eyes. She saw his tense eyebrows and stiff lips that whispered to her questions to ensure she was... okay?
"If you're this afraid of something happening to me, why do you even bring something so dangerous to the encampment?" she asked coldly.
"Just tell me, do you feel something wrong?" Sebastian asked sternly. His voice was sharp, and his eyes demanded her to answer him.
"What is inside that box? You told Sir Zoran that it can kill everyone here—"

Despite his rough treatment and villainous acts, this man had never raised his voice to her before. Even when he was angry, he would probably just sneer or hiss at her, not yell.
