Now that the cat was out of the bag, Tristan had no choice but to go all out. Dark energy was seeping through his entire being, coating both his weapon and wings. His once-white armor was now coated in dark, glowing patterns.
"Dark Battle Mage, huh," Sebastian muttered, "Fancy."
Talent was everything, after all, he thought. Tristan might be a kind of genius who reached the seventh star before his twenties, but Sebastian had met a lot of people with better talent than him.
Callum, for example, was said to have the least talent compared to his other three generals. But it was false. Callum was able to become a seven-star when he reached the age of twenty. Judging only from talent, Callum and Tristan had the same rate of growth.
But even with that, Tristan used an artifact to boost his talent. Thus, one could argue that Callum had better talent than him.
