Fairies.
Those creatures danced on the fine line between good and evil, often leaving mortals scratching their heads in bewilderment. They resided in a secret realm tucked away somewhere between the human world and the realm of the gods, but – they were much closer to humans than gods.
Legend had it that fairies weren't always the mischievous beings one knew today. No, no, they began their existence as the brainchild of none other than Ardalas, the evil god.
Back then, they were the poster children for malevolence, the old demons that would give your worst nightmares a run for their money. They were basically the ultimate troublemakers, and they reveled in their dastardly deeds.
But over time, something incredible--or perhaps devious, happened. These creatures decided they'd had enough of taking orders from Ardalas. So, they staged a celestial coup d'état and managed to pull the plug on their connection to the malevolent god.
