"Where is your Empress?"
The battle in the Valley of Death was concluded in a day. Unexpectedly, the first apostle, William Edenborn, did not put up so much of a fight. He didn't even need to wield the dark energy. Sebastian thought it would last three days at the least, but it seemed that the emperor’s old injuries were a lot more severe than he thought.
Still, he felt something was weird.
At the beginning of the fight, Sebastian saw how sure William was that he could hurt him. But now, Sebastian came out unscathed. Thus, after everything was settled, his mind wandered back toward his fair lady.
He didn't know why he thought of her when he realized he could be hurt in some way, and he immediately asked about her whereabouts the moment he stepped into the encampment.
But he was faced with complicated expressions.
"Your Majesty... the Empress... is missing."
