On the school terrace
Mitsuha's pov
I needed to see him alone, and I knew the staff room wasn't the right place. So I called him to the terrace. I think he suspected something wrong, but still, he agreed.
Mr. Jinta: Yes, Mitsuha, you wanted to see me.
Mitsuha: Yes, sir. Actually, yesterday I came to the staff room and I saw you discussing something with a few parents. You even handed them the answer sheets for the next exam.
Mr. Jinta: "W-W-What are you?"
Mitsuha: I saw everything, sir. There is no use in lying about this.
Mr. Jinta: Please don't tell anyone about
Mitsuha: Then take back the answer sheets.
Mr. Jinta: W-what?
Mitsuha: Return the money and take back the answer sheets. If that is not possible, don't let them write the exam.
Mr. Jinta: But that is not possible.
Mitsuha: Why is it not possible? Aren't you a teacher?
Mr. Jinta: What reason am I going to give the principal when she asks me why I didn't let them write the exam?
Mitsuha: Tell her they cheated.
Mr. Jinta: But I helped them cheat. I will lose my job.
Mitsuha: Then I will complain to her myself. If the school doesn't do something about this, I will go to the board of education.
Soon, without realizing it, my eyes started to shed tears.
Mitsuha: Those rich students might want good grades for pride. But I need these grades. You know that well, sir. My father and I have been living in poverty for ages. It was always my dream to get a scholarship and study at a good college so that I could get a stable job and provide the best life for my father. He worked hard for me day and night to make sure I had food to eat. Just to make sure I had a roof over my head and just so that I could study well. I want to pay it back. Please, sir, you know how desperate I am. No matter how far I have to go, I will fight for my grades.
While they were talking, both of them were unaware that someone was watching all this.
