"Your Highness, it is Jadon Reinhart." He says into the intercom at the door. I mean what is it for? Who puts an intercom at an office door?
There's a moment of silence, "Maybe he isn't home." Jadon whispers and I laugh. But then a beep sound comes from the intercom.
"Yes?" A voice calls from the other end. It's Skye.
"I have an appointment with His Highness at 9," there's another moment of silence. Like they are busy debating inside.
A beeping sound comes from my phone and I realize I'm receiving a text. From Skye.
'What are you doing here?' I instantly look up and all around me as I read her text. How does she know I'm here? I can't see any cameras. So how does she know I'm here.
I'm about to text back, but then the door is pushed open and without warning, Jadon grabs my hand and shoves me inside, winking and flashing that glorious smile to me before closing me inside the room. And leaving himself out of it.
