Leonis, we can't stay here like this. We have to return to the others." I say. We've been sitting here in the middle of nowhere in this same position for the past thirty minutes.
"I just missed you so much." He says while burying his head in the center of my chest. Seriously, this man.
I try to push his head up, that's impossible. I try to push his back to rest on the tree… Also impossible.
I try to unwrap his arms from around my waist… They are locked so firmly, it almost seems like they've been cemented to my body.
I give up.
"Practically speaking, you were with me up until this morning." Seriously, I know it feels like it's been months, but we've actually only been apart for hours. Not even days.
"Well there is a difference." He says, finally lifting his head from my chest.
