"You are both pathetic!" I yell angrily. It isn't really a yell, but I'm sure they hear me well. "Is it my fault that you have a stupid king who chooses me over you? Or is it my fault that his brother is as stupid as he is!"
"You little wretch!" Lady Daliah hisses as she walks up to me and without warning lands a deafening slap on my face. "How dare you speak so of the king? How dare you say such things about the prince! You worthless piece of garbage!" she says, and lifts her hand to slap my face, but I guess even my trembling body knows that one slap is enough, for my hand instinctively flies up and catches hers.
