"I almost thought you were not going to show." Jadon says as I walk up to him.
"You didn't give me a chance to say no, of course I'll show." I whisper, looking at the guards standing outside, wondering if I'm the one they are looking at or not. Why am I suddenly terrified that Leonis will suddenly show up out of nowhere and I'll be in so much trouble.
"I see. But, why are we whispering?" He asks in a whisper.
"I don't know. I just can't seem to talk louder than this. You know meeting you like this makes me feel like I'm sneaking out."
"You really look like you are." He says. And I look at myself from head to toe in a black trouser, black boot, black jacket that has a hood. I do look like I'm sneaking out. The girls told me to wear this because I'll get in trouble if the king finds out I'm going out of the palace just to meet with another man who is not just any other man, but Jadon Reinhart!
