His mother! The withering looking old hag is that bastard's mother! Hours after being told the identity of the woman, I still can't seem to believe it.
But there's one thing I do believe, and that is the fact that I loathe Leonis Rein with every cell in my body, he is my number one enemy, and anyone associated with Leonis Rein is also my enemy. Be it his mother or his god! I don't care. In fact the entire planet is a world of maleficent people, they are all my enemies.
After giving and explaining to me lots of do's and dont's of the Garden of Nightshades and the entire castle in general, She had left me, stating that she had business to attend to. She also gave the maids orders to take me around the Garden of Nightshades. The upper level alone, I had no business with the lower level.
And that's what I've been doing, going around with my newly assigned maids. This is ridiculous! I have maids! "Like I really have real life maids who wait on me!" I don't want any of this, but there's definitely no backing out now.
"Well I guess even rags can be appeasing when dolled up." I suddenly hear someone say. I decide to walk away, it probably isn't my business. But then…
"Tell me about it, look at those cheeks, so plump, like overripe fruits." I hear someone else say in return. Hell, are they seriously talking about me? My cheeks are cute! I know, I've heard my mom say it over a thousand times.
"She doesn't even have a thin waist, I can see the fat even though she's in a corset." Me? What fat? My waist isn't fat! My waist is just 27 inches! How is that fat? And I'm sure this stupid corset has even pressed it down to 24!
"Ladies, she lacks everything. She isn't even tall. I bet she will have to climb up a stool to touch the King's shoulder, haha hah!" These f*cking witches! I can't take it anymore, so I turn to face them.
They are five in number, seated around a wide round table. The woman who claims to be Leonis' mother had told me I had no business with other concubines. And unless I personally wish to interact with them, I have no need to even greet them. I'm grateful for that because I have no intention of befriending anyone in the first place.
But forget about befriending, I do have a lot of pent up anger inside of me, and I can sure as hell release them on these five witches!
But damn! This really is a garden of the finest nightshades. The five of them have an uncommon beauty. Mine is a face that you see everyday. But theirs, theirs is something different, it isn't just the beauty, but the natural elegance that they seem to exude. Two of them have hair the color of the desert sand, and it dazzles in daylight. Their eyes that are touched with mockery still somehow glitters brightly.
Two others have hair as black as onyx and styled it perfectly in chignons, allowing curly tendrils of hair fall beautifully to the side of their faces.
The last one who's sitting in the center quietly sipping something from a cup has the reddest of red hairs I have ever seen. In fact I do not believe this red is natural, it has to have been dyed.
She let her hair fall fully, cupping her face beautifully, and from where I'm standing, I can see her beguiling eyes. They aren't really blue, they are more like silver-gray, but still there's blue in them somewhere. I can't explain it, but hers are the most beguiling eyes I have ever seen.
"Lady Ain, I think the thing heard our conversation." one of the sand-blondes states, looking at one of the lady with black hair.
"It turns out that she's not only lacking in her appearance, Lady Lapis, but also in manners." The lady whom I'm assuming is Lady Ain says.
"I agree with you Lady Ain, she's rude, she doesn't recognize her elders when she sees them. And worse, she's eavesdropping on conversation. What a shrew!" the other blond says and I can't help the scoff that leaves my lips.
"I wonder what she must have done to be brought up here, she's not even fit for a position among the maids." The other dark haired lady says and a round of laughter begins. That red-hair just sits there sipping whatever nonsense is in that cup, her eyes constantly on me as she also partakes in the laughter.
I can see it now, it's like high school, they are probably the top of the tops. And this red-hair is probably the most preferred girl, the one all other girls want to be like. The one they follow about like lackeys.
And I'm the new student in school whom they feel like they want to pick on and bully. Well guess what, I was never bullied in school because I'm a much crazier witch.
And these witches have to know that.
They say silence is the best answer for a fool, and I believe that is right, but there's also a way to not stay silent and still ignore a fool.
I turn to the maids behind me, "What is this part for?" I don't need to shout, I know my voice is loud enough, my mom always said I had speakers in my lungs.
"It's just a resting area My Lady." The woman says with a bow, that I'm not comfortable with, but I just ignore it.
"It is? Then why are there so many fleas and roaches in this area?" I ask looking right at the five ladies but pretending I'm not even seeing them.
"Fleas and roaches, my lady?" The lady inquires in a confused manner as the other maids look around for the fleas and roaches.
But I can see the ladies whom the message is meant for, they totally understand my words. The red-hair finally drops her cup to the table, and the other four have their glaring eyes on me.
"Yes, fleas and roaches. They're causing this annoying buzzing sound that I just don't like." I continue. "I think there's something on that table, all the roaches and fleas have surrounded it and it's almost like they're having a party."
"Huh!" I hear the maids behind me gasp. They probably finally get what I'm saying, and I can tell they are shocked beyond words.
Lady Lapis suddenly bangs her hands on the table as she rises to her feet, her face has quickly turned red. She's staring at me like she wishes to rip my eyes out. "You foolish, shallow woman! What do you—"
"Let's go away from here," I quickly interrupt whatever speech she is about to give.
"I don't want to spend another minute hearing this disturbing buzz!" I say and instantly I turn around and signal the maids to lead the way. And they do.
As I turn, I noticed all their faces. The expression of red annoyance they have on their face. My words did get to their heads, maybe not all of them. I notice the red-hair too. Her expression is plain, simple, not giving away anything, but also, I see her eyes.
And I don't know why, but the look of calmness and coldness in those eyes disturbs me. She is definitely the top girl among all five of them here.
I can still hear their curses and insults following me as I walk away. Funny, it's my first day here, and I have already made enemies. Well, it doesn't matter anyway. I don't plan on staying here for long. I'm here to end Leonis Rein, and until I have successfully done that, I won't allow anyone look down on me, more or less think of bullying me.
I'm here for Leonis Rein, and whomsoever dares me in the process will certainly have to pay.
