With a pretty skeptical mind, I step out of the door glued to him like a second skin. And it's so dark. I can hear sounds of crickets, owls and some other noises of which I can't really place under any animal, bird or insect.
But now that we're standing outside, I can't help but wonder. How the heck are we going to get out of this forest if he's not going to open a portal?
"Please don't tell me we'll be walking." I say.
"Patience is a virtue you seem to lack." He says and I just stare at him like I'll punch him any second now. But I hold myself back as he leads me to the back of the building, and I'm not seeing anything here but the empty blank brick wall.
But then he places his hand on the wall and pushes a brick. Now, the wall seems to be realigning. Bricks are coming out of their positions and sliding into new positions.
