"Kiva?" He calls me again and I force a smile to my lips.
"I came to dip chips in beer!" I blurt out and wiggle out of his arms instantly. I take the beer, open it and pour its contents into the bowl. I bend my head and suck all the frothy foam from the bowl.
I tear open the pack of chips, pick one out, dip it into the bowl of beer and then take it to my mouth.
I humm and lick my lips like I'm eating some kind of delicious chicken and the look on his face is priceless. He looks so disgusted.
"Did you just dip your chips into beer and then eat it?"
"You should try it. It's glorious. It's called chips and dips." But he clearly wants no part in my nonsense.
Since I know very well that the chips won't be holding any weight in my stomach, I decide to cook something instead.
