A Water Mage.
A type of mage that uses body of water as a weapon. This type of mage have powerful attack power and strong defence, but still incomparable to the other type of mages.
Water Manipulation were among the weakest types of magic. That is because the strength of the manipulated water solely depends on the Mage's control and mana.
If the Mage lacks control and mana, the water manipulated would be as soft as typical water: useless in battle. But, it was a different case if the Mage have strong control and abundant mana: the water would become harder than steel, and with the water's flexible properties, it could be in any weapon the Mage desires.
Most Mages have weak control or less mana. But these characteristics is best suited for other types of Magics. A Mage with weak control over mana could be a destructive Flame Mage and Wind Mage. This two characteristics is not only the factors to consider when it comes to Mage Magic types, but it play a vital part. This led to strong Water Mages being rare.
From what Ace recalled from Castileo's memories, he was a Water Mage adept in Water Manipulation spell; meaning he had strong control and abundant mana. In this aquarium-like room, he was a god.

"R-RETREAT!" Sel'avah shouted with a nervous tone. It was an obvious reaction especially seeing what this room made of.
The other reptiles also knew this, so without hesitation, they immediately began to sprint towards the blown door.
"Oh no you don't," Ace motioned his hand downwards.
The open way was suddenly filled with string-like objects made-up of water. The unfortunate reptile that sprinted the fastest failed to stop and was met with a brutal end: Being sliced to pieces.
"How unlucky..." Ace muttered.
The sliced reptile fell to the floor piece by piece. Its companions stared at it with wide fear-filled eyes.
He looked at the reptiles that nervously gazed at him, particularly the clawed one. "Ser'sha, right? Those claws were really bothersome,"
Ace raised his hands and a two meter wheel of water formed above him. The wheel spun rapidly with sharp teeth edges.
"So, please die quietly." Having said that, a wheel of water with sharp edges lunges itself towards the clawed reptile.
"Ser'sha!" All reptiles yelled in unison.
"Step back!" Ser'sha met the incoming wheel head-on. Raising its claws, the reptile jabbed the wheel's edges.
BAM!
"ARGHHHH!" The reptile shouted as the wheel began to
press on its body. Due to the properties of the claw, the
wheel of water began to decline in strength rapidly.
"I can do thi-"
PLURT!
Ser'sha suddenly lost vision and felt extreme pain on the head, but was unfortunately unable to process what happened.
Ser'sha died pitifully, not even know how; a blue spear actually impaled on Ser'sha's eye and coming out in opposite eye. It happened so fast that the reptiles didn't know when the spear flew.
Breaking out of stupor, Sel'avah shouted in rage towards the young man.
"KILL HIM!" Sel'avah bellowed in anger. But deep inside, the reptile knew they'd never win this battle. From what the young man showcased, it was no doubt their enemy was a mage adept in Water Manipulation. But despite so, Sel'avah wasn't willing to die without fighting.
"You're right, you would never win." Like reading his mind, Ace responded to his thoughts. Having said that, the water above Ace began taking shape of various weapons; blades of swords and long spears.
With claws ready to slash, Sel'avah sprinted towards Ace. The other two reptiles did the same.
BOOM!
A water spear impaled on the floor just a step away from Sel'avah. Fortunately, the reptile managed to dodge in time and prevent itself from being pierced to death.
"ARGH!" Sel'avah heard a cry from his companion. But he didn't have time to look over, another object—a long-sword—flew towards him.
De'vra, the one armed reptile, saw the fate of its companion and despaired. The poor reptile was the weakest in their group, now this reptile was pierced by dozens of blades: badly mangling the outside and inside of the body.
Sel'avah wasn't fortunate this time. Being a second late, the sword grazed its shoulder. But the reptile didn't have time to since in pain; descending towards Sel'avah was dozens of bladed objects of myriad sizes.
Bang! Boom! Bam!
The reptile, Sel'avah, attempted to hack the incoming blades. It raised its clawed hand and aimed towards the objects. Sel'avah successfully deflected some, but due to the numbers of blades, Sel'avah sustained various injuries on its body.
"Captain!" De'vra shouted in worry. De'vra stood on the side; and for some reason, the lizard wasn't assaulted by blades.
SPLUR! A meter long sword impaled itself on Sel'avah's leg, throwing the reptile unbalanced. But Sel'avah hurriedly got up and paid no time to the injury, and stopped an incoming blade aimed towards its head.
Ace looked at the reptile with interest. He was inwardly surprised by Sel'avah's strength. The reptile managed to catch his attack with bare clawed-hand, although it may not seem impressive, Ace used an ample amount of mana for that attack.
'Let's end this.' Ace voiced inside. He raised his hand again and this time, the weapons floating above him glowed blue. The blades became more sharp and doubled in size, the force exerted by the weapons also became stronger as noticed by Sel'avah.
"GHARG!" Sel'avah grunted. Its claws started cracking due to the force. The blade started to inch towards the reptile. Sel'avah was also pushed back.
"SEL'AVAH!!!" De'vra yelled in horror.
Above Sel'avah, tens of glowing blades were aimed towards the reptile. Sel'avah knew this, but didn't have the time to respond to this attack; if its attention was slightly diverted, Sel'avah would undoubtedly be pierced in the head. Plus, Sel'avah knew winning was impossible, Sel'avah simply wanted to die while fighting.
SPLURT! A meter long spear impaled Sel'avah from behind. But, Sel'avah still held the blade aimed at its head.
SPURT! A blade pierced the lizard in the abdomen. Then, a sword pierced the scaly shoulder. Another sword jabbed the reptile's back. This continued for a minute before it stopped. But Sel'avah was no longer breathing and looked liked a porcupine.
"Ah..." The remaining reptile, De'vra, saw the fate of its companions and dropped to the ground with expression of despair. The remaining reptile looked at the blades hung in the air.
They were all aimed at the reptile.
Gripping its blown-off shoulder, De'vra stared at the blue haired young man steadily walking on its direction.
"Do you know why I kept you alive?" Ace inquired.
"T-To extract information...?" The reptile nervously answered. De'vra was shivering inside. De'vra didn't want to die but knew the inevitable.
"On point. Tell me honestly the relationship between my sister and your clan, and I'll make your death, swift." Ace clapped and inquired. The information Castileo got from the information merchant was short, and he was sure this event wasn't a coincidence designed by the 'Story' so he wanted to know more.
"I'm going to die anyway... But don't expect me to betray my clan. I will only tell you about that woman!" Despite being in the face of death, De'vra was still loyal to its clansmen.
"That woman offered an item to our chief, I don't know what it is but since then, the woman would come once a month. She was close to Sel'avah for an unknown reason. A month ago, she tasked Sel'avah on infiltrating your manor and to kill you. We aren't Cryst Lizards, we're Shawl Lizards. That's all, now kill me swiftly." The lizard closed its eyes.
Ace nodded his head. A drop of water drilled on the lizard's skull, swiftly ending its life. The Lizard fell to the floor with a thud.
Silence enveloped the area.
THUD!
After a second, Ace groaned as his knees dropped to the ground. Blood began to flow out from his nose as he try to not lose consciousness.
The sound of water gushing sounded as the water left his control.
'F...uck... That was exhausting, but atleast I'm still alive.' He muttered to himself while groaning in pain. Thinking back, he was genuinely lucky or else he would have died. Luckily, he remembered from the memory of 'Castileo' that he was secretly a Water Mage.
Although still far from the ranks of being able to completely raze a city alone, which a powerful Grand Mage could do, the power was enough to overpower the Lizards. Castileo was still in the Mage rank, and still needed to rank up three times to destroy a city with his power alone.
When talking to the lizards, he was purposely stalling for time to familiarize himself with 'Magic' and to control the water in the room. This was not his first time being in a 'Story' where magic exist, so he was familiar with the concept. What surprised him was the body remembering how to use magic. So control of it became natural.

'Hidden... Miniscule Luck? More like Behemoth Luck!' His exhausted self suddenly became energized as he thought about his luck. He wholeheartedly thanked the being who blessed him.
'Side Story' was an uncommon encounter when inside a 'Story'. The 'Hidden Side Story' were a rarity and hardly anyone encounters.
He stood forcefully and looked at the state of the room, and the corpses of Lizards. 'Shawl Lizards. No wonder the eyes were different,'
"How do I clean this up? More importantly, is anyone still alive in my manor?" He questioned.
Since the start of the battle, no guards, or even maids came to the rescue when their master was facing possible death.
Limping while wiping the blood stain on his nose, he walked outside the room.
