"I can see the altar from here!" Ben said, standing over a rocky cliff, which helped him get a better view around. He then slowly descended back towards the sandy ground, now with a precise way in mind to walk up.
It wasn't that Ben couldn't sense the altar from earlier, but it was the terrain and hills that made it impossible for him to find a perfect way around it. If compared to Earth, this terrain was a perfect blend of dunes and rocky valleys.
"How far is the altar this time?" Freya asked. Beads of sweat were forming on her forehead from the constant use of magic. Yet she wasn't close to Ben's number of kills, let alone surpass him.
"Same, but a little closer, maybe 1 kilometer this time," Ben said, and he began imagining the path he predicted from the cliff.
"Thank God, at least we are closing in," Freya said with a small sigh that she followed Ben in the same direction.
