The academy just like guilds, received missions from organizations or individuals and the students were the ones to take in these missions, the academy too would offer missions to the students.
The rewards ranged from academy points, spirit stones, equipment, and more. Some difficult missions would offer both or three of these rewards. Depending on the success rate of the academy would offer extra academy points to the ones who took this mission. Some kids took missions as a party some went solo, as for how important the academy points were it was a different story altogether.
The points are the academy currency, use them to buy anything you want, from cultivation resources to clothes, the points can be used as one pleases. Even those living down in the dormitories could use points to advance to higher living facilities as long as they had enough points.
