First of all, this is a system, second... calling it a true body doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be of the same gender, it's a called true body because it will have the same everything as the original body, your soul will be the same, literally everything if you choose that to be the case. It's hard to explain the true ins and outs of the true body but the simple explanation is that everything the original body has, will be the same as the true body.
