"you will never guess what I discovered" she said excitedly as she walked into his study with a wide smile. Khan looked up from his papers and gave her his whole attention. She came and sat on his laps and hugged his neck.
"I don't even get a good evening kiss?" he asked wrapping his arms around her waist.
"sorry" she apologized then kissed his lips "I was just so excited to share this news with you" she smiled again
"what is that?" now he was really curious.
"Emmett's mate.." she started her eyes gleaming brightly.
"yes?"
"it's Nayera" she announced.
"What!? Really!?" he was genuinely surprised. He wouldn't have imagined that, they were a match. Emmett was so calm and reserved and stoic, while Nayera was… also calm but joyous. Thinking more about it, they fit.
"yes, I was surprised too. That's where he disappeared" she was all smile.
