The next day, Eder woke up feeling quite light. Not the usual heaviness in his chest due to his loss, it was still there but it felt lighter than before. It weighted less together with the worry of the ticking bomb in the dungeons. Still Eder found it easier to leave his bed.
When he was done getting dressed, he left his room and went to find Grezia in her room. Knocking softly, he waited for her to open the door. It wasn't long before she opened the door, looking a bit disheveled.
"Eder?" Her hazel eyes widened in surprise. She was clearly not expected him.
"I am sorry, am I waking you?" Eder asked softly.
"Huh... n-no not exactly" she replied while running her hands through her messy rich brown hair, naively trying to arrange them, when she was just creating more mess. That brought an amused little smile to Eder's face "I was already awake since a short while"
"Okay, so would you like to join me for breakfast?" He asked.
