"you're not thinking that I have someone else are you?" Demona wondered aloud, frowning at him.
"no not at all" he smiled and laid down on the grass. Demona was still confused but she laid next to him on his chest.
Eder started to realize with time that Demona though she liked him, she was not his Dahlia anymore. When he looked into her eyes, the only thing he saw was lust and possessiveness. Not love. He missed the love that he could feel and see in Dahlia's eyes whenever she looked at him. It was not the same with Demona. She didn't love him. She 'liked him very much' that's all.
He was so blinded by the fact that he had missed his wife that he thought he could do with Demona but this was not what he was expecting. He had to admit that his Dahlia was no more. He remembered their wedding day, when they just got married, she was taken away from him and before he could find her she was killed.
