That day, Eder received an unexpected gift. He was in the middle of a meeting with the councilors. Freya was with them. Eder insisted that Freya joined them for every meeting and that she learned everything about the kingdom's functioning. He even assigned Nayera to teach her all she had to know and now she was partaking in every meeting.
Freya had honestly no idea why he requested that. She was no princess or anything of the sort. However, they needed to avoid pissing him off.
So as they were in the middle of their meeting, a guard came in with the permission and gave the king the small white velvet box wrapped with a yellow ribbon.
Once Eder took the box, the guard bowed and left. Everyone in the hall became calm as they all waited to know what was inside. Eder opened the box, in front of the councilors and found a letter in it. The envelope had a golden claw mark on it. It was a message from the werewolf alpha king, which was totally unexpected.
