Dahlia was leaning back in her chair watching Dola walk in and make herself comfortable in a chair across her. Once Dola was seated, none of them spoke. One waiting for the other to speak first. A staring contest was engaged. Dola tried her best to keep her ground before Dahlia but she couldn't. In the end Dola gave up and spoke first.
"you don't want to know why I came?" Dola asked trying to sound as nonchalant as possible but her voice betrayed her.
"you will say it eventually" Dahlia simply replied.
Dola smiled.
"you are very intelligent, I have to admit to. Till now, I still don't understand what exactly are your real motives" she said "what exactly is your goal Dahlia Quinn?"
"do I need to ask you to be more explicit?" Dahlia asked. She had a hint to what Dola meant but she still asked.
Dola leaned on the table and looked more closely at Dahlia.
