Chapter 32 - Lightning

Chapter 32: Lightning

The force of Ethan's punch reverberated through the air, aimed straight at Arc's formidably armored figure. But just as their powers were on the verge of colliding, Arc swiftly raised his sword, intercepting Ethan's attack with expert precision. The impact unleashed a shockwave that shattered every window in the castle, sending glass fragments flying and filling the air with a cloud of dust.

As the dust settled, Arc stared at Ethan in disbelief, his eyes filled with a mixture of awe and curiosity. "So, you are not just an ordinary being from this world, are you? Another traveler from different realms, and one with extraordinary strength at that. It seems there is more to you than meets the eye, Superman."

Ethan met Arc's gaze with unwavering determination, his eyes brimming with confidence. "Strength cannot be measured by mere numbers or stats. It comes from within, from the will to protect what matters most."

With those words, Arc launched himself at Ethan with blinding speed, his sword slashing through the air with deadly precision. However, Ethan's movements were akin to a dance, effortlessly evading every strike. His agility and reflexes seemed otherworldly, defying the limitations of this realm.

Realizing that the confines of the castle were hindering their battle, Arc conjured a portal, teleporting both combatants to a location outside the castle, near a rocky terrain. The vast expanse of the sky above them seemed to crackle with energy.

With a malicious grin, Arc raised his arms, channeling power from the heavens itself. A surge of energy gathered in the atmosphere, swirling and crackling with intensity. "Behold, Ethan! This is Heaven's Lightning, a force that strikes down all who dare oppose me!"

A bolt of lightning, magnificent and destructive, hurtled down from the sky, aimed directly at Ethan. The ground quaked as the lightning struck, creating a massive crater. Yet, as the smoke and debris cleared, Ethan emerged from the epicenter, unscathed and undeterred.

A determined glint gleamed in Ethan's eyes as he raised his hand, summoning his own power. "Now, it is my turn."
