The Young Avengers finally began saying their goodbyes to The Invaders, Dozier, Holland, and the brave American soldiers they fought alongside. Dozier told the Young Avengers that they had earned the thanks "of all the free world", and no one could contradict him. It had been a great day for the Allies.
Patriot contemplated staying behind to serve alongside his grandfather and Captain America, but Cap stepped in and said "what seems like a good idea now could prove disastrous for the future. Leave the future alone. Go home."

As they began to return to their time machine which still sat where they had left it, a familiar looking soldier and the Howling Commando platoon approached them. "Hey, you guys were great out there!" The voice was strangely familiar. When they turned around they recognized NICK fury among the group of approaching soldiers. Fury had obviously changed a lot in over 80 years.
One man was holding an old flash camera. "Hey you guys got time for a picture?"
"Why not?" Stature replied, as the Young Avengers quickly posed with Fury and his men known as "The Howling Commandos", and then headed off towards their time machine.
As they left, it suddenly dawned on her: She'd seen the picture the man had taken before. It was hanging on the wall in NICK fury's office back in Albuquerque!

Once back in the Present Vision kept true to his word and revived The original human Torch into a new and improved body.
