In Hills.
In the dawn.
He was not deep into his sleep,rather shallow.
Sleeping in the cold night up till dawn, of course he could not sleep well and deep.
He would rather stay put for a while instead of somersaulting while trying to cheat his body of sleep.
Kim had come a long way,damn far.
"Oh nadin, where at thou?"
Nadin was voice becoming audible in his ear. It was as though he was present here.
"Do not sleep outside in the cold night. It could weaken your heart lest I be in this world without you, without a friend. Why dwell in your past doings kim, come on in".
"The spirit is willing but the flesh is not,I find it quite relaxing out here.
"Am scared for you to die... Nadin's faint voice echoed in his ears.
"Death is overrated, don't stop me now".
" You do this almost every night. You should come inside with me or go into yon' room. Alright if you would not listen I will come outside and join you. Nadin said and closed the door behind him.
"That thick head of yours. Don't bother, I'm coming inside now".
The smile on his face that soon fade away when he remembered nadin is not here,but in his memories.
He kept wondering why nadin suddenly left without a reasonable explanation.
The outside world is dangerous. Nadin is fully aware. Life was not fun for him in mondo nevertheless he left for another place.
But why?
The orange sun slowly creeped out from the clouds causing the darkness to vanish at once. Nakir could not sleep with trouble approaching. Lest they find him asleep and bundle him up and end him.
Why has sirocco not come? He thought.
Perhaps he has not notice my body gone. He sighed. He needed to send a message to queen genevieve. Lest segund come upon them unawares. He walked outside the cave. Nakir whistled to attract a parrot bird to him. Kim heard the whistle. A human whistle. "Is there someone living around here?" He thought.
Alas his whistling draw a parrot.
This one was quite slurred in speech.
He has to improvise. "This one will go". He thought. Just then kim raised his head up to see where the whistle came from.
Lo and behold there was nadin talking to a parrot.
Madness.
"How is this possible?" He said to himself.
"Why would nadin stay in a cave?"
"In this place.
He tried to move closer to see him clearly. He wanted to be sure.
"Good heavens,this is nadin talking to a bird.
This is absurd.
It was as though he had increase in height and stature. True. He had indeed increase in height and stature. So much has changed. Nadin is indeed different now. Standing there was an angellic figure. His handsome smooth face and the thin line of his jaw.
Kim studied him from afar. He watched him in surprise.Unbelievable.
His arm was still quite deformed but far better than before.
This new appearance of nadin is incredible.
"Come, friend. I have a message for you".Nakir said to the parrot. You shall say to the queen. "War draws very nigh o'queen. Prepare for your enemies shall come anytime soon,lest they come upon you unaware. This do I,in love for the late king".
The parrot flew straight to the palace.

Nakir recognized the voice. Manservant Kim. He had never perceived anyone in his trail for days, perhaps he just got here.
He walked to where nakir stood.
"Did you followed me here?". Nakir asked.
"No I did not. It's a coincidence.
"I don't believe you". Said nakir,firmly.
"Oh, but you have never doubted me".
"Things have changed kim.
"No I do not agree. This sudden appearance and rather hostile attitude". Said kim.
"Are you not happy for me ".
"I am. I am very happy for you but it's sudden and creepy,I feel like something weird is going on.
"Sudden, really. Is it an offense. Look i understand if you are not happy. Maybe you are scared that your young friend will leave you and one day go to a school or somewhere far far away from you. Nakir was only making an issue to make kim deviate from his appearance.
"Okay I admit. I'm a little concerned.
"A little -- Interrupted nakir.
"Okay,very. I'm very concerned about you. Do you suppose I pretend like nothing is changed. I know you nadin. This is not you. Perhaps you're possessed. Kim eyes wide open in realization. You're possessed.
He shaked nakir as if to shook the supposed spirit out. Nakir felt his eyes glow,he quickly looked down to the earth.
Kim eyes widen more.
"There is something in your eyes.
"Something... Nakir repeated. "What is it?"
"I think you have made me sick Kim.
"No, I did not. There was something green in your eyes. Look me in the eye. He demanded.
"No,I won't. You may get sick too.
"We will suffer it together then. Just let me see it.
"No,i will not. Don't bother.
He did not want to hurt him because kim mean alot to nadin. He just had to bear him.
"Come out! He shouted."come out of him you unclean spirit. I cast you out o' you demon.
"Let go of me". He said calmly. He tried to control his anger. "Me,unclean. This is too much.
"I said let go of me! He screamed.
The strong wind blew with force,a blast and the quick flash of green sparked in his eyes like lightning. Fast and dreadful.
The wind blew kim away,not far away. He landed on his back,his hand, bruised and sore.
"Yikes. Nakir muttered.
He walked to where kim laid.
"Can I help you ".
Kim refused to respond to him.
There is something, someone inside him. Kim knew it. He tried to get up on his own,but he could not. His spine hurts.
"You need help,let me help you".
"Do I need to remind you of what just happened. You caused it. So just leave me alone.
"I didn't mean to hurt you. Said nakir, sincerely."I'm not a demon. He added.
"But look what happened". He didn't know if to confront him again because he may end up lifeless. He may end up dead.
No. He didn't want that.
"I will do everything in my power to get nadin back. He thought. Anything.
Blood maybe involved,life, tears or pain, whatever it takes. He struggled on his own and finally made it to his feet.
There was no convincing or words that could change kim's mind. Someone else inhabit nadin's body. He figured.
"He definitely knows that someone else is inside nadin's body. Why hide it again. Nakir thought.
No,he can definitely do anything to get me out of nadin's body, perhaps he may join segund.
This secret is mine. I'mma keep it. He thought.
"I'm sorry". Nakir said.
"Don't be...it was my fault.
"How so kim?
"I don't even know but it is my fault. It's only fair. He took steps carefully. His back was hurting as hell.
"I will just find somewhere in the city to stay.
Said kim.
Nakir could not leave him in this state.
It was not pity or mercy. All for nadin's sake.
"I cannot let you go like this, come.
"No, I can manage.
Nakir moved to where he was and took him by his left hand and led him to a big rock to sit.
Dealing with him kindly will make him trust me.he thought. "I said allies not enemies.
Nakir walked to the other side of the cave where good herbs grow. He took a leaf and returned back to where kim sat.
He rubbed it on his palm and he started singing a strange song.
It was a healing song. He rubbed the leaf on kim's spine and his bruised arm.
"The pain will relieve you soon.
"Thank you. Kim said.
"Why did you leave mondo kim. You claim you didn't follow me here. So why?
"You're not nadin.Are you?
"Answer me first.
"I must know how to answer.
"Yes I am not your nadin.
" who then are you?"
"I am NAKIR. He thundered. The cat is out of the bag kim,I am not your nadin but nakir.
Here it is... The sovereign voice,the display,the charm.

"So tell me why you left mondo.
"Nadin parent especially his mother torments me. I don't know what to say, nothing solid to give them.
So,I decided to go away.
"You left your friend's parent".
"You took him".
"Know what you say. Nakir warned. Go into the village and find an abode. Things are about to get messy here and I'm not planning on taking you as my responsibility. I just want you safe. For nadin's sake. He added.
"Is this place not safe.
"Not quite safe.
"Why do you dwell in the cave?" Kim asked boldly.
"Why should you be concerned about that... You will get nadin soon,so no more questions. Leave immediately. He commanded.
No pain, he could not feel a single pain.
The pain is gone. Wonderful.
He walked away to the village.
