Chapter 7 - The maids Meeting and Arthur's plan

As the breakfast plates were cleared away, Agnes called for a meeting with the four other maids.

There was an air of intrigue, and curiosity shimmered in their eyes. Agnes, taking the lead, spoke softly, "Did any of you notice how different the young master seemed today?"

Matilda, with her ever mischievous grin, chimed in, "Even if the young master changes, he'll always be our adorable young master, won't he?"

Agnes, anxiety etched on her face, replied, "It's not just about his demeanor. I sense a shift, a change in his desires and ambitions."

Eleanor, with a reassuring smile, interjected, "Agnes, you mustn't forget who our lady was. She read and wrote at the age of three and became a first-circle mage at the age of six. It would be unusual if the young master wasn't intelligent or curious."

Beatrice nodded in agreement, her gentle voice offering comfort, "Indeed, Agnes. It's a positive sign that the young master is showing interest in something again. And remember, you love him more than anyone else. Trust in him and his decisions."

The mention of Agnes's affection for the young master caused a rosy blush to grace her cheeks. She appreciated the reminder that love often led to worry.

But it was Matilda who spoke up next, cutting through the pondering silence, "No matter what happens, we will always be by his side. Thinking too much won't change that." They knew their roles extended beyond merely attending to his needs; they were his confidantes, his protectors, and his champions.

Arthur's Pov.

As I retreated into the solitude of my room, the weight of my ambitions settled upon my shoulders.

Thoughts swirled in my mind, each one a piece of a complex puzzle I was determined to solve. To become truly independent, financial stability was paramount.

Money, loads of it, would be my first short-term goal.Aware that I couldn't employ my own name to earn a living, I knew I needed an agent, someone trustworthy who could navigate the murky waters of financial affairs on my behalf.

Someone who could secure the resources I needed to establish myself. But finding such a person was no easy task.Another challenge loomed before me—the lack of manpower and a base of operations.

To build my business empire, I required capable individuals, talents that can help me and finding them was going to be difficult. My thoughts then turned to my maternal grandfather.

He possessed knowledge and influence that could prove invaluable. I needed to establish contact with him, to seek his assistance in this journey towards self-reliance. A flicker of hope ignited within me, knowing that familial ties could open doors otherwise closed.Drawing inspiration from the modern world I once belonged to, I pondered various avenues through which I could amass wealth.

Entrepreneurship, investments, or perhaps utilizing my own unique talents. The possibilities were endless, and I resolved to explore every chance available to me. Yet, amidst the pursuit of my goals, my heart harbored a deep-seated pain. The memory of my mother's untimely demise weighed heavily upon me.

It was my sacred duty, my Dharma as a son, to find and punish those responsible for her death. No matter who they were, they would face justice for their sins.In the realm of long-term goals, I was driven by an insatiable curiosity.

The secret behind the amulet that came with me to this world gnawed at my soul. Its sole function appeared simple, enabling me to maintain a calm and focused mind. But the power of a calm mind was far greater than most realized.

It was a strength beyond measure, allowing me to navigate challenges with clarity and precision.

Some might think the first effect of the amulet is not so great as it only allows the it's bearer to keep a calm mind but people tend to forget how important a calm mind is ,a calm mind can make people less impetuous leading them to making less mistakes and preserving towards achieving their goal hence it may seem not to great power but it was a power greater than anything.

Tonight, I resolved to share my plans with Agnes and the others. After writing down plans that I thought on a paper in English so that other people won't able to understand it I went for sleep.
