Before long, the truck slowed down when they reached the middle of the second city… Bruce asked for that since he found some corpses of monsters around, but not a single one had been killed recently. They were all kobolds as well, and they had been killed by something like a large hammer since their heads and a good part of their torsos had been smashed.
"Someone had something against the kobolds," Bruce said. "Move slowly from now on and try not to make much noise. I feel like there is a camp ahead, and we don't want to alert our neighbors."
"Why do you think that there is a camp ahead?" Diane asked.
"The kobolds had a camp as well, but they lost it, I find it hard to believe that zombies destroyed that alone," Bruce replied. "I also find it hard to believe why someone would destroy their camps but not their dungeons… so this whole situation seems illogical."
