"It seems that the monsters that left the city aren't returning," Angela said while she was chewing down some bread. "Do you think that the bosses can't control them after they leave the dungeon?"
"That seems to be the case; they can only give them orders while they are in their presence," Bruce said. "Simple commands should be the limit for stupid monsters, but things might change if those things summon smart creatures. We will have to confirm that though. Until then, it is better not to assume too much."
As Angela contemplated the possibility of facing smart monsters in the future, a shiver ran down her spine. The thought of intelligent creatures, cunning and devious, sent a chill through her. While they might not possess the sheer strength of dungeon bosses, their intellect and strategic thinking could more than makeup for it. Angela knew that facing such adversaries could be just as dangerous, if not more so.
