The fiery explosion sent a rush of scorching air against Bruce's skin, causing him to instinctively flinch. However, his momentary distraction was disrupted by the distinct sound of pins being pulled. His gaze snapped sideways, widening with alarm as he witnessed several more grenades hurtling toward him. In that fleeting moment, Bruce grasped the dire situation - he simply didn't have enough time to summon another Fireball to counter this imminent threat.
Without any other choice, Bruce charged toward the enemies and leapt toward them when the grenade his the ground and exploded. Some of the enemies used their guns at him, but Bruce protected his face with his sword. Bruce felt a stinging pain when his ears and arms were hit, and he could feel his blood falling, but it wasn't that bad.
