Bruce learned that the spiders had fighting styles that suit them. While they were brain dead monsters that fought while enraged, it didn't mean that they were different from each other. Eclair said that they were smart creatures, so they had their own personalities… Bruce had to develop his fighting style considering that as well.
When the next monster charged toward him and Bruce did the same. When their swords hit each other, Bruce used Dash and then repelled one of the swords to the side thanks to the extra momentum, and then used his other blade to hit the neck of the monster by putting all the weight behind his attack.
The blade easily pierced the neck of the monster causing critical damage, even more so thanks to the fact that the monster was wide open.
