Hearing this, Davis's jaw tightened. He dared not to imagine that this lady had left her children behind and the man had abandoned his own two bloods.
Why would he even care now when he didn't care from the past so many years?
But right now, there were no options left. He needed to arrange the blood bank in one night otherwise her life would be in more danger.
This was something he couldn't afford at any cost.
At last, Davis let out a sigh. He calmed his nerves for a while and replied back, "Try to contact him and let him know about this anyhow. We need blood."
"I-I... can try. But please... don't let anything happen to Lucy at all..."Helena's request didn't turn dead either, "I will do whatever I can to save her."
With this, Davis hung up the call. He kept his head against the headrest again but this time, there was evident pain on his face.
He wasn't an aloof businessman. All he needed was the warmth of Lucy's smile again.
