Andras with Reqiel and his mother by his sides, crossed through the open space that the gold gates had left behind and paused, feeling a strange tug in his chest. He stopped not because he wanted to but because he physically couldn't take a step further.
Derora noticed his discomfort first, getting pulled back with Reqiel when Andras stopped abruptly. "Andras? What…"
A wave of darkness enveloped Andras, throwing both Angels by his side to the ground some distance from him.
There was a cacophony of shouts, Derora called out for her son at the same time that Reqiel did, the both of them scrambling to their feet.
Helion had already returned to his wife's side in a heartbeat, staring at the ball of darkness just at the edge of the Realm, an inscrutable expression on his face.
Derora held his robes, a panicked terror on her face. "Helion, do something!"
