-Death's Grove-
They walked for a while on the outskirts of Death's Grove, the air filled with life. Chittering birds and the quiet buzz of winged insects created a harmonious background ambiance.
Reqiel stomped over the uneven ground, a smile on his face, his excitement overshadowing his exhaustion.
"Do you think we'll find a creek nearby?" He asked to Andras' broad back.
Andras briefly glanced behind him, "Your flask?"
"Oh, I'm not thirsty, I'm… wait are you thirsty?" He asked in a rush, hurrying forward to plant himself in Andras' path. "I've got enough water for the both of us!"
Andras slowed to a stop, quietly watching the Angel fumble with his travel bag so he could get out his water flask and offer it to him. He didn't need to drink water but he took it anyway, pouring a little of the cool liquid down his throat and returning the flask.
Reqiel watched him with contagious happiness, far too happy for something so mundane.
