Reqiel went to bed in high spirits, it turned out that all he needed to do to properly experience everything was stay as far as possible away from other nobles. It was a sacrifice he was very willing to make.
Instead of sleeping, he spent a long time going over what he could possibly do when he got to the city square. Unfortunately, he hadn't gotten the chance to see even a little bit of it so he didn't know what to expect.
Eventually, the exhaustion of his day caught up to him and he slept off, waking up the next morning to the shining sun filling up his bedroom like warm honey.
Reqiel was pleased that Sarell was giving him more and more freedom. While they were in the Celestial Realm and even Mistbourne, the red-haired Angel had acted like a strict guardian but now he was more like a personal attendant.
