"Even for your brother?" Sarell blurted, pushing the limit.
Nerae looked exhausted at this declaration but he made no tries to refute the claims, "What do you want?"
Sarell quickly backtracked, "No-Nothing! I'm really sorry, that was insensitive of me." When the dark-haired Angel said nothing in response to that, he kept talking, "I merely hoped that he would have some other family that cared for him."
"He was adopted and made royalty, how could I possibly compete with that?" Nerae said, his tone flat.
Sarell scowled at that, "There's nothing to compete with, he was stolen and locked away in a castle."
Nerae found the personal attendant's reaction amusing, "And? Are you aware that your precious Prince Velia knew of this? Or does your anger choose?"
Sarell opened his mouth and closed it again, completely speechless.
