As Kyle read the "Book of Alucard" , there was another meeting going on between the Alliances of the Alfheim Kingdom, Giganheim Kingdom, Dwarvenheim, and the Lower Realms HPA Chiefs.
"I'm not sure if any of you made any contact with him yet but the vampire we've managed to capture two years ago, escaped our containment and went through the realm's aperture. We've ran a few tests on him " The U.S Chief said as he sat in front of his computer.
"The vampire had already entered my kingdom, on the same day he arrived at Terra Principium and I'm sure the other kingdoms had the same feeling when he did." King Fusis said.
"He arrived in the morning while the suns were up, we were the only ones who felt the aperture in the realms open. However my kingdom guards have not encountered the vampire yet but I'm sure we will later down the line." The Gigan King said as his voice rumbled through the speakers of the Chiefs' computers.
"I felt it as well but it seems the vampire is only focused on the Alfheim kingdom for obvious reasons." The Dwarven Queen said as she rested her head on her hands.
"That seems so but this generation made a major development, one that goes beyond anything that should be possible." King Fusis said as he looked at the US Chief before continuing. "He adapted to the sun."
"What?!" The Giganheim King said, although his voice was too loud to clearly go through the chief's speakers.
"What do you mean, he adapted to the sun. Wouldn't that mean, he isn't a pure blood vampire." The Dwarven Queen said in a surprised tone.
"No, given his lineage he would be pure blood even if he has human blood." King Fusis said before they all looked at the US chief. "What is the information you got on him?" King Fusis asked.
"Well he never adapted to the sun, he had a great resistance and over a while he developed the cells to withstand them. Next he does not get weaker from being near silver, however it remains the best tool to pierce his tough skin. He developed a small resistance to garlic, however if it's mixed with other bulbous' of the Genus Allium family, the concentration is potent enough to affect him." The US Chief read off a document from a file they have on Kyle during his imprisonment. "In other words, he's evolved as a vampire and we believe there's a chance he could've turned." He finished.
*Thud* The Giganheim King slammed his fist on the desk, making the screen tremble. "How could that even be possible in just one generation, he alone evolved. Are you aware of what this means now?" He asked, his voice grumbling heavier.
"Yes of course, we must prevent him from reaching any of the war captives. More importantly, King Fusis, you need to put extra security on Queen Aria." The Dwarven Queen said, sounding as if she had already been preparing for the vampires.
"What do your war captives have to do with this vampire child? What is so important about his lineage?" The US chief asked as he looked at them.
"My guards confirmed it with me a few days ago. He is a member of the Royal Family of vampires, the last descendant of the progenitor of the race. The war captives that we speak of are his 4 avunculi, each held in our nation, including his grandmother- the former Queen and General of the nation. His mother is the only one we allowed to let live out of respect for the Great King, their progenitor. In order for him to be recognized as king, he must retrieve the crown from the queen and in order for him to understand the reason why the queen started the war. He must reach every war captive." King Fusis explained.

[Half a dozen hours after the meeting, night had fully fallen over the Terra Principium.]
"How long are you gonna be reading this book, you went through half of it already." Lakoi said as he stood on Kyle's bed staring at him.
"You're right… I didn't even realize." Kyle said as he closed the book. "Were you waiting for me to finish?" He asked as he sat up.
"Yeah." Lakoi said as he got off of his bed.
"My bad… why?" Kyle asked with a confused tone as he tilted his head.
"I didn't tell you?" Lakoi said as he put his hand on his chin and tried to remember what he said to Kyle yesterday. "It doesn't matter, tonight I'm gonna give you the best tour of the entire village. Since I don't have any classes, we can explore the entire village in one night… although we did lose a couple hours unfortunately…" He said excitedly.
"The entire village? That doesn't seem bad but how big is the village?" Kyle asked as he stood.
"Ummmm I'm not sure, we can make a map." Lakoi said as he walked out of the room and signaled for Kyle to follow him.
"You know how to make a map?" Kyle asked in a surprised tone as he followed him to his room.
"You know, you ask a lot of questions. You need to learn how to trust the process, a map is easy to make if you know the four cardinal directions and those in between." Lakoi said as he opened his closet.
"Hmm, I guess you're right. I mean we're both vampires in Blutheim." Kyle said as he stood behind him.
"Yup, whatever that means. Pick whichever outfit you want to wear, you can even mix them." Lakoi said as he stepped to the side.
"Anyone you sure?" Kyle asked as he looked at him.
However Lakoi just met him with a glare as if he was tired of most of the questions so Kyle just went on to pick out the clothes he wanted to wear.
"You gonna change in front of me?" Lakoi asked in a confused tone.
Kyle, who was used to changing into different uniforms in a locker, was also confused. "Why not, we're both men… right?" He said although stopped taking his shirt as he was a little concerned by his question.
"Huh you right, we are two men. Going to do a little exploring, maybe run into wild beasts on the way- Do you know martial arts?" Lakoi suddenly changed the topic in a curious tone which made him stop looking for an outfit he could wear.
"Yeah but I'm not an expert." Kyle said as he switched his shirt to the one, he took out Lakoi's closet.
"We should spar some time, maybe it'll help me improve and you too take your mind off whatever is troubling you. Of course that's if you aren't scared." Lakoi said as he started throwing clothes out of his closet to find an outfit he wanted to wear.
"We could spar whenever, I'll never back down from a fight." Kyle said as he remembered his training lessons with Urie and Christian.
"Good, I needed a new sparring partner, it's not fair going against my teacher." Lakoi said as he finally found an outfit to wear.
"You don't have other people to spar with?" Kyle asked as he sat on his bed.
"I used to have sparring partners but I was more advanced then they were so I had to get private classes to properly improve my skill." Lakoi said. "That's because I been training since I could walk but my dad said there's no experience better than a real fight. Have you ever been in a real fight?" Lakoi asked as he switched his outfit.
"Yeah I've been in plenty of fights, that's what helped me add finesse to my moves." Kyle said.
"That's awesome. Sparring is fun but I know a real fight is much different. The main objective being to kill your opponent, I don't think I'll be able to do it. Honestly." Lakoi said as he put on sandals.
"Once you're in that moment, you won't be able to fight that thought if you want to live." Kyle said as he seemed to be looking into the distance.
"Oh." Lakoi said, feeling as if a thick tension was pulled over them. "That was kinda depressing man, you need to work on that." He brought up trying to ease the tension.
"Yeah, you're right. That was sorta weird." Kyle said.
They sat in silence for a bit before bursting into laughter about what just happened. Soon after they left the lodge and walked the path to the bridge. And to their surprise a white tulpar was following them, Kyle recognized this one as the same tulpar that he met earlier in the day.
"It looks like it's taking a liking to you, you're gonna have to make them your steed if they get too attached." Lakoi said as he started petting the tulpar on its head.
"That would make traveling easier." Kyle said as he looked at the tulpar.
"I know you don't know much but tulpars aren't for transportation. Tulpars are companions that will follow and protect you for as long as you do the same. As long as you take care of them, they will do the same for you, they deserve the same amount of respect you would give to any other vampire. So for one to take a liking to someone in an instant is very rare. Can you think of them with a brighter light or at least try to, please." Lakoi explained, making it clear that he took offense to what Kyle said.
For Kyle however, he has never seen or given an animal just as much respect as he would give another vampire, nonetheless a human. Living his entire life in an urban city where horses seem to be kept for riding and others as livestock or simply pets, to put it bluntly he did not care. However that thought was almost quickly swept away as if he was coming to a different realization.
"Your right- '' Before Kyle could finish, he saw Lakoi's head drop so fast it was as if he became a blur in the corner of his eyes. Thinking they were being attacked as the tulpar suddenly stomped and raised its front legs. He put his hands as if he was also about to be hit with a fast attack.
"It's a man too, they tend to be more hostile and stubborn than the woman too, did you meet him before?" Lakoi's voice came from behind the tulpar, quickly easing Kyle's mind before he saw his head rise up.
"I met him when I was outside earlier, he sat by the river with me. That was the first time so I don't know why he keeps following me…. What did you do to him?" Kyle said as the tulpar finally brought its legs down.
"I checked downstairs." Lakoi said as he kept looking forward.
"You what?" Kyle asked in a confused tone.
"Yeah." Lakoi said in an embarrassed tone as if he couldn't explain before the tulpar swung its head to hit Lakoi.
"Gross." Kyle said with a look of disgust on his face as he watched the tulpar hit Lakoi.
They continued to walk along the path with the tulpar now following them from behind instead of between them. He watched and listened as the two young vampires talk and laugh with each other, he listened closely to them, being absorbed into their conversation. Not realizing they started crossing the bridge until they were already midway through it, seeing that they were reaching the populous areas of the villages. It became less engaged with Kyle and Lakoi's conversation to pay attention to its surroundings, however the two young vampires seem to be more in their own world than in anything else.
Kyle couldn't think of a time where he felt more relaxed being outside without having to cover his head. Feeling the blades of wind glide across his body feeling refreshed with every step. Something he hadn't acknowledged earlier.
"This is Apalous' expanse. Where the Royal Guard Reisun and The Savant Brieola live, this is also home to every guard and their respective families. Apalous' expanse was also where the first ever Royal Guard that protected Lady Eliana was born and buried. His will was to make this the only land to reach the Duchess' domain and the land to house only soldiers who swore to protect the Duchess and her family. It was his last attempt to protect her and her descendants before he met the great empress." Lakoi explained as they walked through the road that was laid in the middle of the town.
