"Morning, Lu Shi," Tian Mei greeted cheerfully.
Lost in thought, Lu Shi snapped back to reality upon hearing Tian Mei's saccharine voice. Startled, he met her gaze.
Tian Mei's smile deepened at Lu Shi's reaction. 'Excellent, just as I'd expected.'
"I should get going. You can rest up," Lu Shi said, hopping off the bed to hurriedly look for his toiletries.
Tian Mei watched Lu Shi with her eyes half-closed in a smile. She took advantage of the camera's focus being elsewhere to peel off her face mask and spent a few minutes applying makeup.
Then she took her own toiletries to freshen up. While others used toothbrushes and toothpaste, she swished her mouth with mouthwash. It appeared both normal and high-end. If people hadn't noticed she had removed her makeup, they'd likely assume she was a young girl leading an exquisite life.
